Democrat hypocrisy is nothing new.
The Democrats’ entire narrative for the Midterm elections is wrapped up in hypocrisy.
And Kamala Harris refused to answer one question that could ruin everything for the Democrats.
During a recent appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, host Chuck Todd took Kamala Harris to task over one major contradiction facing the Democrat Party ahead of the Midterm elections.
Todd pointed out how Joe Biden smeared the 74 million Americans who voted for Trump as enemies of the state and threats to the Republic, yet at the same time Democrat committees and Super PACs poured piles of cash into GOP Primary battles to support Trump-backed candidates because they believe it will be easier to defeat a “MAGA Republican” in the General Election.
Harris stood her ground and repeated her talking points that Trump supporters are a threat to democracy.
“There are those who right now are vividly not defending our Democracy,” Harris stated. “And I think we want our Commander-in-Chief, the President of the United States, to speak up and raise the alarm about what this means to our strength, and our future — much less our integrity.”
But Chuck Todd pushed back at Harris.
Todd wanted to know how Harris could claim she actually believes what she says given how the Democrat Party spent money in GOP Primaries supporting Trump-aligned Republican candidates.
“Listen, I’m not going to tell people how to run their campaigns,” Harris responded.
Todd doubled down and tried again.
“Would you have done this?” Todd shot back. “Is this something you’d be comfortable with?”
But Harris skirted around the question.
“I’m not going to tell people how to run their campaigns, Chuck,” Harris answered. “I know that it is best to let a candidate, along with their advisers, let them make the decision based on what they believe is in the best interest of their state.”
Todd tried for a third time to get Harris to answer his question directly.
“You’re not worried that this reflects poorly on the Democrats?” Todd wondered.
Harris ignored the question for a final time.
“I think that what we have to focus on is that in 60 days, as of this interview, in less than two months, we are looking at a Midterm election in which so much is on the line,” Harris stated.
There’s a reason Harris refused to answer Todd’s question.
If she answered him, the Democrats’ entire campaign narrative about how Donald Trump and his supporters are trying to overthrow the American system of government would be proven to be a lie.
