Kamala Harris is trying to introduce herself to voters as the new Democrat Presidential nominee.
But she’s hiding who she really is from the public.
And Kamala Harris slammed her fist in rage after his massive deception crumbled.
Kamala Harris is running from her record as “Border Czar”
Vice President Kamala Harris was parachuted into the Presidential race to a burst of enthusiasm by Democrats and their media allies.
Harris is being treated like a fresh face.
But she’s the other half of the Biden-Harris administration.
The rebranding of Harris by her campaign and the media began the moment she entered the race.
Her most visible role since becoming Vice President is serving as President Joe Biden’s “Border Czar.”
She dropped the ball securing the border while more than 11 million illegal aliens poured into the country.
The media and her allies tried to falsely claim that she was never appointed the “Border Czar” and only had a small diplomatic role in dealing with Central American countries.
Illegal immigration has become one of the biggest issues in this election cycle.
Now, she wants to distance herself from her “Border Czar” job and past support for open borders.
Harris is being presented by handlers and the media as a tough prosecutor to appeal to voters in swing states.
She knows that the border is a serious political vulnerability for her.
That’s why she tried to claim at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia, that she was tougher on the border than former President Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump, on the other hand, has been talking a big game on securing the border, but he does not walk the walk,” Harris boasted.
“In that job, I walked underground tunnels between the United States and Mexico on that border with law enforcement officers,” Harris ranted. “I went after transnational gangs, drug cartels, and human traffickers that came into our country illegally. I prosecuted them in case after case, and I won.”
The public thinks Kamala Harris supports open borders
Harris is still relatively well-known in most of the country.
So, the race is on to define her for voters.
Her campaign is hoping that the public believes their lie that she’s a tough-as-nails former prosecutor.
Trump’s campaign and allied super PACs have been running TV ads in the swing states hammering Harris for failure as “Border Czar.”
Now, some early results are in about what the public believes about Harris’ record.
A Harvard-Harris poll found that 69% of voters think that Harris supports open borders.
69% of independents and 56% of Democrats think she backs them.
Only 31% of voters believed she opposed open borders.
The poll’s finding is bad news for Harris.
69% of voters think that open borders are a bad idea.
And 73% agreed with a policy of sealing the border to stop illegal immigration.
The 30 days will be crucial to the trajectory of the race.
If Trump and his allies can link Harris to the border crisis, her campaign could fail to get off the launch pad.
The race is on between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump to define her to voters.
