The only thing worse than Joe Biden as president would be Kamala Harris in charge.
Somehow the first female VP has managed to make herself an even bigger laughingstock than her boss.
Now Kamala Harris’ social plans include a ridiculous stunt while the world is falling apart.
Thanks to botched leadership at home and abroad, Americans are struggling with skyrocketing inflation, surging crime, surging housing costs, and an expected food shortage crisis.
But rather than work to solve serious problems facing the nation, Kamala Harris is taking part in a publicity stunt.
Harris sure isn’t likely to get any positive press for her job performance.
She’s already failed spectacularly as Joe Biden’s Border Czar.
Then she completely blew it when she was sent on a European tour to help stabilize the situation in Eastern Europe.
The Vice President is now hoping she can get some positive press coverage from the Lame Stream Media, which has been dying for an excuse to prop up the leftist.
New Mexico’s Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is set to wed her fiancé Manuel Cordova.
And as a loyal Democrat, she’s willing to turn the ceremony into a spectacle to get the Biden Administration some positive press.
Grisham’s first husband passed away back in 2004, and now the 62-year-old is ready to tie the knot with her longtime fiancé.
“We’re delighted to celebrate our wedding in front of family and close friends,” the couple wrote in a joint statement. “Like so many New Mexicans, we’ve postponed family celebrations over the past two years during this pandemic. We feel fortunate to be with our loved ones in celebration of our marriage.”
While it makes for a good press release, the Governor has been with the auto repair shop owner for 10 years — well before the pandemic.
Of course, that’s their business and there’s every reason to wish the couple happiness.
But it is surprising Kamala Harris has time to take part in a political publicity stunt at a time when American families are dealing with the highest inflation in 40 years, record-high prices at the pump, spiking murder rates (along with other violent crime), millions of illegal aliens flooding into the country, supply change disasters, the never ending pandemic, and students who are being taught how to be woke rather than how to read.
Then again, as Ronald Reagan said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
Perhaps we’re better off when Kamala Harris is distracted from her duties.
Harris is following in her boss’ footsteps.
