Somehow Kamala Harris has managed to become an even bigger embarrassment to the Democrat Party than even Joe Biden.
Virtually every time she opens her mouth she inevitably ends up putting her foot in it.
And Kamala Harris’ response to this one question on Communist China has Democrats in a panic.
The Biden regime has gone to great lengths to keep Vice President Kamala Harris as far away from the American public as possible over the past two years.
But with the regime now up to its eyeballs in scandals and failures, they’ve had no choice but to occasionally allow her to speak for the regime.
Of course, one of the biggest issues President Joe Biden and his lackeys are facing right now is the lingering questions over his Communist Chinese spy balloon fiasco.
Considering the fact that President Biden or anyone else from the federal government has not been able to explain why they would allow America’s top enemy to fly a spy balloon across the entire country – completing its espionage mission – before shooting it down over the Atlantic Ocean, some of those questions have inevitably fallen to Harris.
But rather than help the situation, the Vice President only added fuel to the outrage fire when she recently claimed that the spy balloon fiasco would not change anything about the U.S. relationship with Communist China.
“I don’t think so, no,” Harris told Politico in response to a question over whether the Biden regime will change anything about their approach to China in light of the situation.
Furthermore, Harris sent Democrats into an absolute panic when in an attempt to calm Americans’ fears, she made the blunder of fully admitting that allowing China to push us around with their spy balloon is fully consistent with the Biden regime’s approach to the Communist nation.
“Everything that has happened in the last week and a half is, we believe, very consistent with our stated approach,” Harris conceded.
As expected, the outrage didn’t just come from the Left, though.
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) blasted Vice President Harris’ comments as further proof that the Biden regime is not taking the threat of Communist China seriously.
“Vice President Harris’s latest remarks refusing to acknowledge that China is a threat to America is yet another example of the administration’s lack of seriousness in countering the [Chinese Communist Party],” Cotton said.
Senator Cotton went on to confirm that the spy balloon was, in fact, equipped to collect intelligence – hence its flight path over major U.S. military installations – and was able to complete that mission because Biden didn’t shoot it down at his first opportunity.
“The Biden administration’s continued appeasement of China is embarrassing. It was no accident the balloon that floated across the U.S. passed over military sites,” Cotton added. “We now know the first Chinese balloon had tools to collect intelligence, something it was able to do because President Biden refused to shoot it down over Alaska.”
The Arkansas Senator also revealed that after making all sorts of excuses for Communist China since the beginning of the spy balloon fiasco, Biden Secretary of State Antony Blinken is now looking to meet with his Chinese counterpart this weekend in order to hit Democrats’ “reset button” once again.
“And after making excuses for China this week, Antony Blinken is considering meeting his Chinese counterpart in Munich this weekend to try and wipe the slate clean,” Cotton continued.
Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the rest of the Biden regime have bent over backwards from the start to appease Communist China.
And all the Biden regime has to show for it are the boot prints Chinese officials have left as they’ve walked all over them.
But don’t worry, it’s not like Communist China is preparing to invade Taiwan, has flirted with aiding Russia’s efforts in Ukraine to kick off World War III, are testing America’s national security capabilities with spy balloons, or anything like that.
Surely everything will be just fine as long as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in charge.
