Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is a rising conservative star.
Republican voters like Lake’s willingness to fight the left-wing media.
And Kari Lake made one jaw-dropping vow that sent leftist media elites into a fit of rage after she brought a leftist-led church to their knees.
Like most of America’s institutions, professional sports are now dominated by leftist who use their influence to support woke socialist policies.
When Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams demanded Major League Baseball (MLB) pull the 2021 All Star Game out of Atlanta due to an election integrity bill passed by the Republican legislature, executives followed their orders and held the game elsewhere.
After Kari Lake promised to declare an invasion at the southern border and use state resources to deport illegal aliens, NFL executives threatened to pull the Super Bowl out of Arizona in 2023.
Reporters recently asked Lake how she would respond to any threats from the NFL if elected as Governor.
Lake’s answer showed why she is a rising star in the Republican Party and why appeals to such a broad swatch of Arizona voters.
“I’m not going to be taking marching orders from the NFL. I’m going to be taking marching orders from the people of Arizona who are tired of their children getting their hands on the most deadly drug this country has ever seen,” Lake stated.
Lake said NFL executives no better than to side with the same Mexican drug cartels smuggling fentanyl into America.
“Do you want to tell me that a bunch of football teams owned by billionaires are okay with fentanyl pouring across our border at a record level, killing our young people? The number one killer right now is fentanyl. 18 to 45. It’s killing a generation of people. If the NFL is okay with that, then they gotta do some soul-searching. I don’t think the NFL is that stupid. I really don’t,” Lake added.
“We want to make sure that we’re stopping the cartels. The people of Arizona are who I work for, and that’s why I’m here with you today,”Lake continued.
"I don’t answer to the @NFL
I answer to the people of Arizona.

In 2014, the NFL threatened to pull the Super Bowl out of Arizona if Republican Governor Jan Brewer signed a religious freedom bill passed by the legislature.
Brewer folded and vetoed the bill.
This type of weakness is typical from RINOs like Brewer, which is why Republicans like Kari Lake, Donald Trump, and Ron DeSantis are so popular with voters.
