Kari Lake cemented herself as a GOP rockstar during the last few weeks of the election.
Lake is one of the few Republicans willing to take on the left-wing media and Democrat heavyweights.
And while the final vote tabulations have yet to come in as of this writing, Barack Obama is still seething from Kari Lake’s six-word response to the former President.
After polls erroneously showed a Red wave was building ahead of Tuesday’s elections, Democrats scrambled to fire up their base in several key battleground states like Arizona, where the most important race for Governor in the country took place.
Regardless of the outcome, the matchup between Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Republican Kari Lake helped catapult Lake to stardom due to her charisma and her willingness to go toe-to-toe with the left-wing media.
Democrats dispatched Barack Obama to Arizona to try and help Katie Hobbs defeat Kari Lake.
During an event in Phoenix, Obama attacked Lake and went directly after her.
“This isn’t a reality show. If Kari Lake is your Governor, we know what she’ll be focused on — because Donald Trump told us,” Obama said. “What’s the worst that could happen?”
The two top issues Lake campaigned on was an America First platform of election integrity and strong border security.
Before politics, Lake worked for twenty years as a popular news anchor in Phoenix.
Obama attempted to smear Lake over her previous career in the media.
“Listen, if we hadn’t just elected somebody whose main qualification was being on TV, you could see maybe giving it a shot,” Obama said. “What’s the worst that could happen?”
“Well now we know. It just doesn’t work out just because somebody’s been on TV,” Obama concluded.
Of course, Obama attacking Lake for being a celebrity is ironic given he spent his Presidency wining and dining with Hollywood elites.
But Kari Lake is willing to push back against Democrat lies and smears.
“If Katie Hobbs actually cared about the people of Arizona, she would take Kari Lake on herself and debate her, instead of hiding behind a former President who lost Arizona twice,” a campaign spokesperson bluntly stated.
Katie Hobbs refused to debate Kari Lake before the election to avoid looking foolish against her charismatic opponent.
Like Trump and DeSantis, Kari Lake has an unmatched ability to cleverly handle Democrats and the corporate-controlled media.
Lake could be on her way to becoming a future star in the Republican Party if she ends up victorious after all the votes have been tallied which should occur by the end of the week.
