Arizona Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake spent the entire Midterm election cycle fighting the establishment elites at every turn.
And over two weeks after Election Day she’s still fighting all sorts of nonsense and hijinks to ensure the voice of the voters is actually heard.
But now the Washington, D.C. establishment flipped their lids after Kari Lake said three words.
No state in the nation has suffered more from election dysfunction over the past two election cycles than Arizona.
After all of the chaos that ensued in the weeks following the 2020 Presidential election, most expected the state to get their act together.
But as Election Day 2022 and the past couple of weeks have proven, trusting any level of government to get literally anything right is a fool’s errand.
Despite Maricopa County officials admitting that 70 of 223 polling locations (or 31%) suffered “printer and tabulator issues” up until 3:00 P.M. on Election Day that affected (at least) 17,000 ballots, the Fake News Media called the Arizona Gubernatorial race for Democrat Katie Hobbs last week even though she only leads Republican Kari Lake by – wait for it – about 17,000 votes.
Considering Maricopa County is Arizona’s largest county and has a population that is four-times larger than the state’s next most populous county, Lake has refused to concede, as many have pointed out that the full extent of the “printer and tabulator issues” have not been disclosed.
Now, in a video posted on social media, Lake revealed new information about the extent of the Election Day issues, and said three words that caused the establishment elite to flip their lids – “we were right.”
“Well, it turns out we were right,” Lake said. “On Election Day, nearly half of all polling locations had problems with tabulating machines and printers. Malfunctioning tabulation machines forced voters to wait in line for hours to exercise their sacred right to vote. I talked to voters who waited in line for hours.”
“One man told me he went to a location and there was a three hour line because the tabulators weren’t working,” she continued. “He drove 15 miles to another location and the printers weren’t working. He drove another 15 miles and was finally able to cast his vote. But he’s not sure it counted. Our election officials failed us miserably.”
Coincidentally, Lake’s opponent, Katie Hobbs, just happened to be Arizona’s current Secretary of State, making it her responsibility to ensure that voting machines, and the election process in general, run smoothly.
According to reports, Hobbs has only shown up to work for a total of 19 days in 2020 – for a job the people of Arizona pay her $70,000 per year to do.
Unlike her opponent, though, Kari Lake isn’t taking any time off, and assured her supporters that her team is “exploring every avenue” to get to the truth and right the wrong of tens of thousands of Arizona voters – mostly Republicans, of course – being “disenfranchised.”
“What happened to Arizonans on Election Day is unforgivable,” Lake added. “Tens of thousands of Maricopa County voters were disenfranchised. Now I’m busy here collecting evidence and data.”
“Rest assured, I have assembled the best and brightest legal team and we are exploring every avenue to correct the many wrongs that have been done this past week,” she continued. “I’m doing everything in my power to right these wrongs. My resolve to fight for you is higher than ever.”
At the end of the day, states like Arizona – and even Pennsylvania and others – have allowed the integrity of their elections to be decimated over the past few years, creating elections that are riddled with so many issues it takes days, if not weeks or months, to sort through the chaos.
Meanwhile, a state like Florida is able to count more than three-times as many votes in a matter of hours without issue.
Make no mistake, elections are a reflection of the politicians voters elect in their states.
And if the 2022 election is any indication, the people of Arizona best hope Kari Lake is successful in proving the race was taken from her by “printer issues” so they don’t have to deal with the disaster that is Katie Hobbs for the next six years.
