Joe Biden’s mouthpiece Karine Jean-Pierre has never received much respect for her role as White House press secretary.
But this latest fiasco went beyond the pale.
White House Press Secretaries are expected to spin things in the most favorable light for the President they serve.
This includes even “shading the truth” when the need arises.
And with Joe Biden as the President, the need to provide lots of shade is overwhelming.
But never before has a White House Press Secretary been so blatant in their lying and cover ups.
What Karine Jean-Pierre just did in the White House press briefing room took it up a notch, or twenty.
Poll after poll have shown that Joe Biden’s moves to open the southern border to a record wave of illegal immigrants is the cause of one of the biggest sources of anger from the American people.
But when a reporter asked Jean-Pierre about the recent uptick in illegal border crossings the room was stunned by her answer, and many wondered if April Fool’s was coming late this year.
Jean-Pierre’s laughably absurd answer was that no one has done more to secure the border than Joe Biden.
If the issue wasn’t so serious this would be hilarious.
In fact, many in the briefing room weren’t sure if she was trying to be serious or trying to make a joke.
The theater of the absurd was in full swing that day, and social media exploded.

Sorry KJP, it was Biden who ended the Trump border wall construction and fought to revoke successful border policy initiatives like Title 42 and the Remain in Mexico Protocols.
On Joe Biden’s watch, at least 7,000,000 illegal aliens have entered the country, bringing with them disease, crime, and even terrorism.
In fact, so many illegals have streamed across the Biden border that if all the illegal aliens who came into the country since Biden was President lived in a state by themselves, it would be the 20th most populous state in the nation.
And recent developments show the border remains in utter chaos.
A record number of illegal aliens poured into the county in August.
“The U.S. Border Patrol arrested at least 91,000 migrants who crossed as part of a family group in August, exceeding the prior one-month record of 84,486 set in May 2019, during the Trump administration. Families were the single largest demographic group crossing the border in August, surpassing single adults for the first time since Biden took office,” the Washington Post reported.
And Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported that border crossing numbers are once again approaching dangerously high levels.
“Per multiple sources, Border Patrol apprehended more than 7,000 migrants who crossed the border illegally yesterday alone, led by the Tucson, AZ sector with over 2,200. These numbers do not include known getaways, ports of entry, or paroles into the U.S. via the CBP One app,” Melugin wrote on social media.
Jean-Pierre’s claims that Biden has done more to secure the border than anyone else are so laughably bad they show why KJP is known as a national embarrassment.
