When Barack Obama showed up on Air Force One, Karine Jean-Pierre was caught in a frantic scramble to save her job during this awkward moment.
Obama was talking with his old media allies, also known as the White House Press Corps, when Jean-Pierre came flying into the room.
According to surfaced audio, only 12 seconds into the meeting, Biden’s Press Secretary made sure to shut down anyone from recording anything former President Barack Obama had to say.
She demanded that reporters respect her “off the record” rule during Obama’s appearance.
As a part of the White House’s strategy to deflect from questions over Biden’s cognitive ability and the state of his campaign, Jean-Pierre wanted to ensure that no reporters could press Obama on the subject.
The reason for her scramble is because, according to some reports, Obama has expressed serious doubt over Biden’s ability to win the election without his direct assistance.
CNN even reported, “Obama has made clear to associates in recent months that he believes Biden’s intensifying re-match with Donald Trump in November will be incredibly close, and that the 2024 election marks an ‘all-hands-on-deck’ moment, people familiar with his thinking told CNN.”
“To that end, his return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue last week was largely a working visit,” concluded the CNN exclusive report.
It is no secret that Obama has always severely doubted Biden.
Leading up to Joe Biden joining the 2020 race for President, Obama famously expressed this doubt in full public view, according to Politico.
“Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up,” Obama reportedly told another Democrat.
This awkward, dual-dimensioned perspective made for a horrible moment for Democrats.
The intervention took place as President Biden was on route to New York with Barack Obama where they were to meet with Former President Bill Clinton and a top-tier list of celebrities for a fundraiser.
The event, hosted at Radio City Music Hall, was expected to pull in a whopping $25 million for Biden’s re-election campaign.
“The three presidents will sit for a conversation with late-night host Stephen Colbert,” CNN reported. “Tickets for the fundraiser range from $225 to $500,000.”
“Some of the highest-dollar guests will have their photographs taken with the three presidents by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz,” continued the report.
“More than 5,000 donors will attend the event, which also includes celebrities like Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo and Lea Michele,” added CNN.
Joe Biden wasn’t the only candidate for President in New York at the time, however.
While Biden was greasing the palms of his ultra wealthy, left-wing donors, former President Donald Trump was in the area in order to attend the wake for the murdered NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller.
Diller was shot during a route traffic stop by a criminal with a viciously long rap sheet.
The killer had 21 arrests on his record, and was continuously released over and over due to the radical woke Democrat policies in New York.
Donald Trump accepted the invite to the wake for the slain officer from his family, showing that the American people stand with the police who oppose Democrat soft-on-crime policy making.
It was highly anticipated that Obama would face questions regarding Donald Trump, Biden’s fundraiser, and the state of the race between Trump and Biden.
And everyone knows that when Obama speaks to reporters on record, his statements will always become the full story.
