Karine Jean-Pierre’s tumultuous time as Joe Biden’s Press Secretary just got worse than anyone thought it could.
And many are now admitting Jean-Pierre was never qualified for the job in the first place after the deadly Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel put Democrats in an untenable situation.
Somehow, Jean-Pierre managed to make the politics of the attack even worse.
On the one hand you have the radical base of the Democrat Party showing their anti-Semitism and support for Hamas.
And on the other hand, you have the Democrat Jewish financial and voter base demanding full-fledged support for Israel.
This conflict between the factions of the party is putting the Democrat Party’s elected officials in the cross hairs.
And the Democrats are being forced to make a decision.
Either they alienate their base by condemning the atrocities of the October 7 terrorist attack in Israel or they can offend swing voters by giving aid and comfort to a terrorist organization.
Jean-Pierre showed which side she has picked during a recent NBC interview.
NBC’s Peter Alexander asked Jean-Pierre about the disturbing trend on college campuses and in Democrat-controlled cities of pro-Hamas leftists tearing down posters of the hundreds of innocent civilians the Hamas jihadists took as hostages.
“A lot of videos of individuals who have been tearing down signs, many of these taking place in New York City, of Israelis presently being held hostage in Gaza. There have been some tense confrontations that have taken place there. Is the White House’s view that these actions should be condemned, the pulling of the pulling down of them, or that that’s a form of peaceful protest?” Alexander asked Jean-Pierre.
In a shockingly tone deaf attempt to avoid offending the Democrat base, Jean-Pierre pretended that she didn’t even know this sick attempt to erase Hamas’ barbaric cruelty was going on.
“Look, I haven’t, I’ve sort of kind of seen the reporting here and there. I think it was from last week,” Jean-Pierre answered.
A thoroughly shocked Alexander asked Jean-Pierre how she could say that when the videos of deranged pro-Hamas leftists destroying hostage posters have been shown every day and have gone viral on social media.
“There’s been like 30 million videos that have got around,” Alexander followed up with her.
“No, I know. I hear you,” Jean-Pierre said before she fumbled the ball by refusing to condemn these actions. “I’m just not going to. We’re not going to. I’m not going.”
Alexander tried again, “Is that peaceful protest to pull that down?”
But for a third time, Jean-Pierre refused to condemn the pro-Hamas protestors.
“I’m just not going to go into specifics on that particular thing. What I can say there are real but violent protests and threats that are happening right now. And senior administration officials are aware of these reports which are deeply concerning. And that is something that we’re focused on,” Jean-Pierre said.
Then, to make everything even worse, Jean-Pierrer tried to fix her ill-fated comments with a post on social media.
“As a result of the Hamas terrorist attacks, communities and families are grieving. For the past month, the families of those who have been taken hostage have lived in agony. Tearing down pictures of their loved ones – who are being held hostage by Hamas – is wrong and hurtful,” Jean-Pierre wrote.
But the damage was already done.
And even the mainstream media is now joining the American people in admitting the modern-day Democrats are now the party of Hamas and the terrorists.
