Karoline Leavitt unleashed a brutal takedown that left an activist judge’s power grab in shambles

White House Press Secretary exposed a shocking activist judicial pattern against Trump that was virtually unprecedented during Joe Biden’s administration.

Democrat judges are trying to strip President Trump of his constitutional powers.

But this administration isn’t backing down from the fight.

And Karoline Leavitt unleashed a brutal takedown that left an activist judge’s power grab in shambles.

White House fights back against judicial overreach

The constitutional system of checks and balances is being pushed to its limits by rogue judges who believe they have the authority to dictate federal policy from the bench.

Judge William Alsup, a Clinton appointee, recently made himself the center of a major constitutional showdown when he ordered six federal agencies to rehire thousands of probationary employees who had been dismissed as part of President Trump’s government efficiency initiative.

In his ruling, Alsup effectively declared himself the ultimate human resources director for the federal government, usurping the President’s constitutional authority as head of the executive branch.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn’t mince words when responding to this blatant judicial overreach.

“Fighting back by appealing. Fighting back by using the full weight of the White House’s counsel’s office,” Leavitt declared, making it clear the administration would challenge this unconstitutional power grab.

The press secretary pointed out what should be obvious to anyone with basic legal knowledge – that a single district court judge has no authority to override the chief executive’s constitutional powers.

“This injunction is unconstitutional,” Leavitt told reporters. “And it is for anybody who has a basic understanding of the law. You cannot have a low-level district court judge filing an injunction to usurp the executive authority of the president of the United States.”

Democrat judges waging lawfare against Trump’s agenda

Leavitt exposed a startling pattern that proves the coordinated nature of this judicial rebellion against President Trump.

“In one month, in February, there have been 15 injunctions of this administration and our agenda,” Leavitt said. “In three years under the Biden administration, there were 14 injunctions.”

These statistics reveal an uncomfortable truth – Democrat-appointed judges are working in concert to obstruct President Trump’s ability to implement the agenda that 77 million Americans voted for.

The Harvard Law Review published data showing that Trump’s first administration faced a staggering 64 nationwide injunctions – more than double the combined total of the Bush, Obama, and Biden administrations. Now it’s happening again, but at an even faster pace.

“It’s very clear that there are judicial activists throughout our judicial branch who are trying to block this president’s executive authority,” Leavitt explained, cutting to the heart of the issue.

Alsup’s ruling was particularly egregious. In his decision, he ordered the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Agriculture, Defense, Energy, Interior, and Treasury to immediately rehire probationary employees terminated in mid-February.

The judge’s reasoning revealed his partisan motivation when he claimed the terminations were “a sham” to avoid following federal regulations, even though, as president, Trump has the constitutional authority to direct executive branch personnel matters.

Administration confident of ultimate victory

Despite the onslaught of judicial obstruction, Leavitt remained confident that the Trump administration would prevail in its mission to drain the swamp and reform the federal bureaucracy.

She promised that the roadblocks being thrown up by activist judges wouldn’t stop the President from fulfilling his promises to the American people.

“We are going to fight back. And as anyone who saw President Trump and his legal team fighting back, they know how to do it. He was indicted nearly 200 times and he’s in the Oval Office now because of all of the indictments, all of these injunctions have always been unconstitutional and unfair,” Leavitt concluded.

The administration’s response makes one thing clear – while Democrats may have failed to stop Trump through lawfare during the campaign, they’re now trying the same tactics through the judiciary. But just as those efforts failed before, this latest attempt to undermine the President’s authority through activist judges is ultimately destined for the same fate.
