In his time as Mayor of New York City, Republican Rudy Giuliani turned around a crime-infested city in crisis.
Unfortunately, all of his good work was immediately undone by the Democrats who’ve come after him.
In many ways technology has made the lives of all Americans much easier.
But it’s certainly not without its drawbacks.
While it can be said technology has brought the world, figuratively, closer together – in practice it has led to lifestyles of seclusion.
And that seclusion has resulted in a growing trend of loneliness.
Then came COVID-19 and the loneliness trend exploded into a full-blown epidemic.
Democrat politicians enacted pandemic restrictions that prevented people from spending time together in person.
Family get togethers moved from grandma’s house to a Zoom conference call.
Hanging out with friends turned into online gaming.
And dating was replaced with Tinder and Pornhub.
The seclusion and loneliness have been especially difficult for males.
Young men are reporting they’ve given up on relationships, have few or no friends and generally feel pretty hopeless with their lot in life.
So much so, young male suicide rates are through the roof.
It’s a government created problem.
But to the surprise of no one, Democrats believe more government is the cure.
Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul of New York is moving forward with an insane idea to grow government with the supposed goal of easing loneliness.

Spectrum News 1 out of Rochester, New York is reporting Gov. Hochul has created a special new government office to allegedly combat loneliness in the Empire State.
And Hochul has turned to a famous name as the first ever honorary Ambassador of Loneliness.
Late last week it was announced sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer will be New York’s Ambassador of Loneliness.
“Gov. Kathy Hochul… announced that Dr. Ruth Westheimer will be transitioning from assisting Americans with their sex life to helping New Yorkers overcome loneliness,” Spectrum News 1 ROC tweeted.
“As New York works to fight the loneliness epidemic, some help from honorary Ambassador Ruth Westheimer may be just what the doctor ordered,” Hochul said. “Dr. Ruth Westheimer has offered her services to help older adults and all New Yorkers cope with the loneliness epidemic and I will be appointing her to serve as the nation’s first state-level honorary Ambassador to Loneliness.”
“Hallelujah!” Dr. Ruth said. “I got off the phone with Gov. Hochul yesterday afternoon. She called to ask me to serve as the very first honorary ambassador to loneliness in the nation. I am deeply honored and promised the governor that I will work day and night to help New Yorkers feel less lonely.”
Dr. Ruth is a holocaust survivor, well known sex therapist and talk show host on both radio and television.
While Dr. Ruth has had a notable career and seems like she genuinely wants to help – she is not the issue with Hochul’s approach to fighting loneliness.
The problem is that it’s a government-created problem that won’t be solved with more government programs.
