Kayleigh McEnany started serving as Donald Trump’s press secretary back in April this year.
Since then, McEnany has been consistently taking the Fake News Media head-on to debunk their lies and propaganda.
And Kayleigh McEnany just shut down the Fake News Media’s latest attack on the President in the most shocking way.
Recently during a White House press meeting, a reporter tried to condemn the President for taking a shot at Joe Biden and the Democrats during a press conference in the Rose Garden.
The reporter thought they were being sly by saying “we wouldn’t have seen” political statements from “previous White Houses.”
Baked into the question, they asked McEnany “is there any place in the White House where you think politics is inappropriate?”
McEnany immediately shut down the fake news reporter’s “question” by simply stating the fact that the Trump administration’s White House staff are in accordance with the Hatch Act, and that the said Act doesn’t apply to the President and the Vice President.
“We act in accordance with the Hatch Act. It’s well established that the President and Vice President are not subject to the Hatch Act. It says this much in the Hatch Act. It says that the Hatch Act applies to executive branch employees, which is defined in the Hatch Act as ’employee,’ meaning any individual other than the President and the Vice President” McEnany said.
After McEnany answered clearly, the reporter tried to backtrack saying “That’s not my question. The Hatch Act has nothing to do with it.”
But then McEnany fired back again saying “It has everything to do with this. Go read the Hatch Act. That’s what you’re alleging that is problematic with the President.”
The Fake News Media has been trying to argue for years that the President’s “politics” are “inappropriate” and even illegal at times.
But as McEnany pointed out, both the President and members of the Trump administration comply with the letter and spirit of the law.
And you can be sure the Fake News Media won’t talk about the fact that Barack Obama’s Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro literally broke the law violating the Hatch Act by flat out endorsing Hillary Clinton in an interview during the 2016 election.
And it was President Obama who let him off the hook when the U.S. Office of Special Counsel issued a report finding that Castro broke the law.
These facts don’t play into the Fake News Media’s narrative.
