Democrat Adam Schiff likes to stir up trouble in Congress.
He’ll do anything to try to destroy Donald Trump and his supporters.
And Kevin McCarthy just made one promise that will have Adam Schiff worried sick about the November Midterms.
Adam Schiff currently serves as the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
However, that will change if the GOP takes back the House in November.
In fact, House GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy recently told Breitbart News that a Republican majority would remove Schiff from the Intelligence Committee in large part due to him pushing The Big Lie that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians during the 2016 election.
“You look at Adam Schiff – he should not be serving on Intel when he has openly, knowingly now used a fake dossier, lied to the American public in the process and doesn’t have any ill will [and] says he wants to continue to do it,” McCarthy told Breitbart.
McCarthy added that Schiff’s disastrous performance as Intel Committee Chairman also necessitated his removal from the panel.
“We’re going to reshape – think about what happened in Afghanistan. Why did Afghanistan collapse so fast? Was the Intel Committee under Adam Schiff focused on impeachment and not on the safety of America? Why are people coming across the border that are on a terrorist watch list? What are they doing about it? Their own members on that committee say it’s not happening when it’s true. We need to have an Intel Committee that looks at what’s happening around the world and keeps America safe. It should do exactly what it was created [to do]—overseeing our agencies and others. We’re going to hold people to a higher standard in the process if they want to be on the Intel Committee and the training to be a part of it. Take the politics out of it,” McCarthy added.
Lauren French, a spokeswoman for Adam Schiff, responded by complaining about McCarthy allegedly working at the behest of Donald Trump.
“It is always difficult to take Kevin McCarthy seriously. Nevertheless, allowing McCarthy to get anywhere near the Speaker’s gavel would be catastrophic – not just because of his propensity for falsehoods and smears, but because he will exist solely to do Donald Trump’s bidding – even potentially overturning the 2024 results,” French stated.
The fact that Schiff even serves on the Intelligence Committee is a farce to many conservatives.
Not only did Adam Schiff spread the fake Christopher Steele Russian collusion dossier, but he also read a fake transcript of Donald Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian President during the Democrats’ first impeachment sham.
And if Republicans take back the House in November, McCarthy is promising to take action against Adam Schiff.
