Kevin Spacey built a brilliant career over three decades as one of Hollywood's most acclaimed actors.
But everything came crashing down in 2017.
And Kevin Spacey made one stunning admission that left Hollywood in shock.
Kevin Spacey admits he's homeless after sexual assault allegations destroyed his career
Two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey revealed he's homeless and living out of hotels after seven years of sexual assault allegations wiped out his finances.
The 66-year-old House of Cards star opened up to The Telegraph about how fighting legal battles left him broke and without a permanent home.
"The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical," Spacey said. "I've had very little coming in and everything going out."
Spacey admitted his financial situation is "not great" and that he nearly filed for bankruptcy.
"I'm living in hotels, I'm living in Airbnbs, I'm going where the work is," Spacey explained. "I literally have no home, that's what I'm attempting to explain."

The actor's nightmare began in October 2017 when Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making unwanted sexual advances in 1986 when Rapp was 14 years old.
Within weeks, at least 15 other men came forward with similar allegations spanning decades.
Netflix immediately fired Spacey from House of Cards and killed off his character Frank Underwood.
Ridley Scott removed Spacey's completed performance from All the Money in the World and reshot his scenes with Christopher Plummer in a matter of days.
His agent and publicist dropped him.
The work dried up overnight.
Spacey cleared in court but Hollywood blacklist remains
Spacey fought the allegations in both American and British courts.
A New York jury found Spacey not liable in October 2022 after Anthony Rapp sued him for $40 million.¹
In July 2023, a London jury acquitted Spacey on nine charges including sexual assault, after four weeks of testimony and 12 hours of deliberations.²
"I imagine that many of you can understand that there's a lot for me to process after what has just happened today," Spacey said after the London verdict. "I am humbled by the outcome today."
But winning in court didn't restore his career.
Netflix also ordered Spacey to pay more than $30 million to House of Cards production company MRC for losses they claimed from his firing.
The legal fees and settlement costs destroyed him financially.
Spacey revealed in a 2024 interview with Piers Morgan that his Baltimore home had been foreclosed.
"I'm not sure where I am going to live now," Spacey told Morgan through tears. "I can't pay the bills that I owe."
The actor admitted he's millions of dollars in debt.

Now Spacey travels from one temporary accommodation to another, performing his one-man show "Kevin Spacey: Songs & Stories" in small venues in Cyprus and Tel Aviv to scrape together money.
All his possessions sit in storage while he waits for a Hollywood phone call that hasn't come.
Hollywood celebrities demand industry give Spacey second chance
After Channel 4's documentary Spacey Unmasked aired in May 2024 with new allegations from 10 men, several major Hollywood stars publicly defended Spacey.
Sharon Stone called Spacey "a genius" and said Hollywood needs to bring him back.
"I can't wait to see Kevin back at work," Stone told The Telegraph. "He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will."³
Liam Neeson said the industry "needs him and misses him greatly."

"Kevin is a good man and a man of character," Neeson stated. "He's sensitive, articulate and non-judgmental, with a terrific sense of humor."⁴
Actors Stephen Fry and F. Murray Abraham also voiced support for Spacey's return.
Spacey remains optimistic that one phone call from the right director could change everything.
"We are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work," Spacey said. "And that will happen in its right time."
He believes if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino called tomorrow, Hollywood would give him permission to work again.
"I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone," Spacey added. "And I believe it's going to happen."
But seven years after the allegations first surfaced, Spacey's still waiting.
He's been legally cleared in every criminal case brought against him.
Yet Hollywood's blacklist remains firmly in place.
Spacey recently took small roles in low-budget independent films like Peter Five Eight and the Italian movie The Man Who Drew God.
These micro-budget projects are a far cry from the Academy Award-winning performances and acclaimed television work that once defined his career.
The two-time Oscar winner who commanded $20 million per film now performs in nightclubs and lives out of suitcases.
Hollywood made its choice about Kevin Spacey in 2017 based on allegations alone.
Jury verdicts clearing him of criminal charges haven't changed that decision.
Spacey insists he's "walking with my head high, no glasses on my face, no hat, nothing to hide."
But he's walking toward an uncertain future where the phone never seems to ring.
