Liz Cheney just gifted Donald Trump this one big surprise that left everyone shocked

Liz Cheney represented the fall of the Bush-era politics that dominated the Republican Party, but she just delivered one massive gift to Donald Trump that left everyone totally shocked.

Liz Cheney put all of her chips against Donald Trump.

When all the dust settled, she had lost everything and her political career is now in shambles.

But Liz Cheney just gifted Donald Trump this one big surprise that left everyone shocked to their core.

Joe Biden awards Liz Cheney the Presidential Citizens Medal

In Joe Biden’s final days in office, he stooped to new lows when he decided to award Liz Cheney the second highest honor a President can deliver to a citizen – the Presidential Citizens Medal.

The award was rooted in Cheney’s effort to try and throw Donald Trump in jail through her work on the bogus January 6 hoax committee.

Mollie Hemingway at the Federalist argued to Maria Bartiromo on Fox News that the award to Cheney was farcical because the former Congresswoman had engaged in some seriously damning criminal conduct while overseeing the January 6 Committee.

“Liz Cheney, in the course of running this committee to supposedly investigate the January 6th incident at the capitol, obstructed justice, witness-tampered,” Hemingway began.

“We have lots of reason to believe she witnessed tampered with Cassidy Hutchinson, getting involved in that woman’s actual legal representation,” she added. “She hid evidence that exonerated Donald Trump.”

Hemingway identified that Cheney had teamed up with her fellow members on the committee to hide evidence, including testimony from the Deputy Chief of Staff which pointed out that Donald Trump actually had offered to deploy the National Guard during the event.

Trump had offered 10,000 national guardsmen to protect the Capitol, which the Mayor of Washington, D.C. refused to entertain.

Joe Biden is now, reportedly, considering offering a preemptive pardon to Liz Cheney, as well as other loyalists involved in this malicious effort to tank Trump, knowing that she could end up in a hot bed of legal trouble once he is now longer around to protect her.

Cheney worked hard to put herself at the front of the pardon line by campaigning openly for Kamala Harris.

“The pardon is being sought by people who know what she did because she is in legal jeopardy,” noted Hemingway. “At the very least, she should be investigated for this.”

“But I also think it’s so interesting how much Democrats – the reason why she’s getting the award is she helped Democrats campaign,” she continued. “They thought she was helpful.”

“You might remember, the Kamala Harris campaign had Liz Cheney out on the road,” added Hemingway. “That was their closing message.”

“If you vote for Kamala Harris, you’re going to have people like Liz Cheney handling our foreign policy,” Hemingway argued. “And polling showed that was actually a net negative with people on that campaign.”

But Hemingway did point out that Cheney had actually done a huge service for the Republican Party with her decision to join the ranks of Democrats.

War mongering politics gets adopted by the Democrats

She argued that Cheney’s efforts to paint Donald Trump as the enemy of the people actually turned the warmongering faction of the GOP, particularly those that followed the policies of her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, into “toxic” positions.

“So Liz Cheney, as awful as her behavior has been in these last few years, she did give Republicans this gift of taking her very unpopular, politically toxic, neocon interventionism and moving it from the Republican Party now firmly into the Democrat Party,” Hemingway argued.

Dick Cheney stood alongside former President George W. Bush’s decision to invade Iraq, which built the foundation for Barack Obama’s electoral victory in 2008.

Americans were furious when they learned that the initial justification for Bush and Cheney’s war against Iraq – that the Middle Eastern country possessed weapons of mass destruction – was totally untrue.

As a result, Bush’s approval rating collapsed into the 20 percent range following the endless military involvement in the Middle East, creating a desperation for a new ideology to take over, even if that change was with Barack Obama.

But this foreign policy perspective, which has been championed by Liz Cheney herself, is no longer welcome within the Republican Party’s base.
