Trump-endorsed attorney Harriet Hageman defeated Wyoming RINO Liz Cheney on Tuesday.
But Liz Cheney is not going away any time soon.
And Liz Cheney just announced a surprising career change that will leave Donald Trump shaking his head in disbelief.
On Tuesday, Harriet Hageman destroyed Liz Cheney by nearly 40 points in the Republican Primary for Wyoming’s At-Large Congressional District.
Liz Cheney infuriated Republicans by voting to impeach Trump, happily agreeing to serve as Vice Chair of Pelosi’s witch hunt committee, and spending all of her time attacking the former President and his supporters during interviews with her pals in the left-wing press.
Since Wyoming is the most conservative state in America, voters handed Cheney a massive defeat for her betrayals.
However, even though her career in Congress is coming to an end, Cheney is not planning to go away any time soon.
In fact, Cheney appeared in an interview on NBC a few hours after her loss where she floated the idea of launching a Kamikaze campaign to stop Donald Trump’s re-election bid in 2024.
“Are you considering running for President yourself?” co-host Savannah Guthrie asked Cheney.
Cheney tried to say yes without actually saying yes.
“I’m going to be making sure that people all around this country understand the stakes of what we’re facing,” Cheney said. “Understand the extent to which we’ve now got one major political Party, my Party, which has really become a cult of personality. And we’ve got to get this Party back to a place where we’re embracing the values and the principles on which it was founded.”
“Congresswoman, you didn’t answer me yes or no,” Guthrie shot back.
Cheney finally answered and made it clear that she is running for President to stop Trump in 2024.
“I will do whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office,” Cheney responded.
Guthrie tried one more time to get Cheney to declare on the spot that she was running for President.
“You didn’t say yes or no, and that’s fine if you are thinking about it,” Guthrie said, before adding, “but are you thinking about running for President?”
Cheney is only waiting for Donald Trump to announce first before she makes her move.
“That’s a decision that I’m going to make in the coming months,” Cheney stated. “I’m not going to make any announcements this morning, but it is something that I’m thinking about, and I’ll make a decision in the coming months.”
The left-wing media spent years attacking the Cheney family as war criminals and enemies of the Constitution.
But the moment Liz Cheney joined the witch hunt against Donald Trump, the media flipped and labeled her a brave, “pro-democracy” Republican.
Cheney embraced the left-wing media’s attention, and used it to shamelessly attack and insult Donald Trump at every opportunity.
And Wyoming voters made her pay the price for it on Tuesday.
