Nothing has gone well for Liz Cheney politically since her historic nearly 40-point shellacking in Wyoming’s 2022 Republican Primary.
Now she’s getting confronted by her biggest embarrassment yet.
And Liz Cheney wanted to crawl into a hole after her role in this total catastrophe was fully exposed.
Liz Cheney ruins everything
Nearly two months have passed since the 2024 Presidential election, and yet, Americans are still scratching their heads over Vice President Kamala Harris’ decision to hitch her wagon to disgraced former Congresswoman Liz Cheney (RINO-WY) in the closing weeks of her campaign.
Harris and Cheney crisscrossed the nation, hosting high-profile events in the crucial swing states that ultimately decided the race.
Hilariously, at the time, every Democrat and media talking head lauded the decision as some sort of genius political strategy that would entice not only Never-Trump RINOs but also Independents to help Kamala easily defeat President-elect Donald Trump.
But as it turns out, embracing a disgraced, failed former Congresswoman whose father was the most hated man in America as far as Democrats were concerned like five minutes ago, didn’t have the impact Democrats expected.
In fact, now that the dust has settled, it’s abundantly clear that the strategy actually helped drive more voters to Trump.
And no state proved that to be true more than the traditional “blue wall” state of Michigan.
You see, the Biden regime’s handling of the conflict between Israel and Hamas terrorists had already soured Michigan’s large Muslim population to the Democrat candidate – whether it was Biden or Kamala who ultimately appeared on the ballot didn’t make much difference.
During Michigan’s Democrat Presidential Primary back in February, more than 100,000 traditional Democrats chose to vote “uncommitted” rather than casting a ballot for Biden, even though he was running virtually unopposed.
Swapping out Biden for Kamala didn’t seem to help matters in the General Election either, as Trump ultimately made massive gains in predominantly, Muslim areas like Dearborn and Hamtramck.
“That’s why [Trump] got the votes”
As Uncommitted co-founder Layla Elabed explained to NBC News, Kamala’s decision to hitch her wagon to warmongers, like Cheney, while Trump was calling for peace created a sharp contrast between the two candidates for Michigan’s Muslim population.
“There’s been many ways in which Harris chose the path of Liz Cheney and the donor class on a range of issues, and abandoning working families in places like Dearborn, who make up the people Democrats claim to be fighting for,” Elabed explained.
Democrat activist Farah Khan, who served as the co-chair of Michigan’s “Abandon Harris” campaign, also noted that Trump actually attempted to reach out to the Muslim community while Kamala ignored them, and promised to fight for what it is they really want – peace.
“He at least, at least came and spoke to the Muslims. He heard them and said, ‘OK, I will finish. I will end the war in the Middle East,’ even if he didn’t say, you know, a genocide, but he said he will bring peace,” Khan recalled. “And that’s what the people wanted to hear, and that’s why he got the votes.”
“[Kamala] says, ‘Oh, yeah, I feel bad.’ And the next day, they send billions of dollars again in weapons,” she added. “I mean, you can’t even fool kids like this nowadays, let alone grown people who are your constituents, your voters.”
The complaints from traditional Democrat voters about the Kamala campaign’s embrace of neocons like Cheney even stretched into other battleground states, like Pennsylvania.
“We went through multiple avenues to try to be heard, and instead, we were ridiculed,” Bryarr Misner, a member of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Abandon Harris campaign, said.
“While I don’t believe that he’s going to enact policies that will benefit the community, he at least showed that he was willing to show up for the community,” he added.
No matter how you slice it, Kamala Harris lost the Presidential race largely because she was the neocon elites’ handpicked candidate and voters knew that a vote for her was nothing more than a full endorsement of the failed status quo that’s been forced on the nation.
And hitching her wagon to Liz Cheney so publicly in the closing weeks of the race only served to drive that point home for voters as they cast their ballots.
