Power players at major international gatherings like the World Economic Forum have made it clear that essential elements of a free society—like the fundamental right to free speech—are very much in their crosshairs.
Their efforts to muzzle, mask, and push a woke agenda on entire populations is no secret.
But now trouble is starting to brew.
Over the past year “MAGA” conservatives have learned they aren’t alone as freedom focused factions have started rising in other countries.
Now the Gadsen flag is flying victoriously in South America’s second biggest country.
Javier Milei made history by becoming the country’s first Libertarian President.
Described by the Economist as a “free-market radical,” the election of the economic analyst and television commentator is rocking the political establishment.
No doubt, for Establishment types like Liz Cheney watching Argentinians flood into the streets chanting “Freedom!” and waving Gadsen flags is the stuff of nightmares.
“Today ends the idea that the state is loot to be divided among politicians and their friends,” Milei announced during his victory speech. “Today ends that vision that the victimizers are the victims and the victims the victimizers. Today, we retake the path that made this country great, today we again embrace the ideas of liberty.”
According to Breitbart, Milei ran his successful campaign “as an anarcho-capitalist and self-proclaimed libertarian, railing against triple-digit inflation and decades of socialist rule in his country.”
Not only does Milei’s success signal a backlash against every increasing control exerted against entire populations around the globe, it’s also a direct hit to socialism.
His “Liberty Advances” Party was only allowed on the ballots in Argentina in 2021, but almost immediately caused the Peron Socialists to lose control of Argentina’s congress for the first time in almost four decades.
Milei’s approach would certainly be enough to cause any good Never Trumper to succumb to a fit of the vapors.
For his campaign Milei used a lion for his mascot saying that he was on a mission not to “shepherd lambs, but to awaken lions.”
