Democrats practically make a living off of griping about the rich.
And nobody does it better than “Pocahontas” herself.
But billionaire Mark Cuban just perfectly described Elizabeth Warren’s role in society.
Democrats on Capitol Hill like to pretend they “create jobs” by redistributing wealth through massive tax and spend plans.
At the same time they pay plenty of lip service to pretending the billionaires who are really responsible for job creation in this country are somehow the enemy.
But now billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban is striking back.
CNBC’s Squawk on the Street captured the moment Cuban, who stars in reality show Shark Tank, went after leftist Senator Elizabeth Warren during an interview at Vox Media’s annual Code Conference.
“I don’t mind being taxed more. I wrote a blog 20 years ago saying it’s the most patriotic thing you can do, after military service, is pay your taxes, because that’s what allows everybody to live and to prosper,” Cuban told tech journalist Kara Swisher. “But, yeah, the idea of just ‘soak the rich, billionaire tears that fill that cup’—screw you, Elizabeth Warren, you’re everything wrong with politics.”
Last year Cuban told Fox News that Warren and her ilk might know how to win politically, but that doesn’t mean they have a clue what they’re trying to accomplish.
“Honestly, I don’t think Elizabeth Warren knows that’s all what she’s talking about when she deals with this,” Cuban said at the time. “I think she just likes to demonize people that are wealthy, and that’s fine, it’s a great political move for her, but I just don’t think that they really understand the implications of taxing unrealized gains.”
The leftist senator hasn’t magically become any less clueless in the past several months.
She recently went on CNN claiming Joe Biden’s disastrous $300 billion student loan forgiveness program is “good for our economy” in spite of the fact that it’s likely to throw fuel on inflation rates that are already at record highs.
According to Fox News, “Warren has repeatedly argued for student loan “forgiveness” in the past, even criticizing Biden for refusing to issue an executive order on this debt. This came despite economists warning that canceling even $10,000 worth of debt could add at least .3% to inflation rates. Warren previously denied evidence that inflation could increase.”
Unfortunately, the wanna-be Presidential candidate has managed to find a cult-like following in spite of her clueless rantings.
Unfortunately, demonizing the wealthy who pay taxes while insisting on spending taxpayer money like a drunken sailor is a political position that’s somehow gained traction in America and proven Warren does indeed epitomize “everything wrong with politics.”
