Fox News and CNN are the two biggest rivals in cable news.
Things are getting bad at CNN.
And this former Fox News star is second guessing their exodus after a major scandal at the new network.
After network President Jeff Zucker recently resigned, an implosion is taking place at CNN.
Former Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace left the network last year to host a show on CNN’s new streaming service platform.
But apparently, Wallace regrets that decision, as Jeff Zucker was the one who convinced him to move to CNN by promising to shield him from the network’s pro-Democrat Party propaganda and hackery.
“Chris is the type of person who makes it known if he doesn’t like something,” a TV industry source told Radar Online.
“He went over there for Zucker and now Zucker is gone. Wallace feels that he has been stiffed. He’s got no staff, no Executive Producer and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door,” the source added.
Because of the network’s D.C. bureau chief Sam Feist and Jake Tapper, the left-wing activist, anchor, and biggest star working out of Washington, Radar Online reported that Wallace was hesitant about moving over to CNN.
“It’s no secret in DC that Wallace hates Jake Tapper and despises Sam Feist,” Radar Online also reported.
But according to Radar Online, Zucker assured Wallace that he would keep Tapper and Feist from interfering with his reporting.
“Zucker spun his magic to allay Chris’ concern about the pair, promising that his status as a ‘premiere journalist’ would not be compromised while working out of the DC bureau,” Radar Online reported.
Of course, most conservatives weren’t sad to see Wallace leave Fox News.
After all, during the first Presidential debate of the 2020 election, Wallace essentially teamed up with Joe Biden by cutting off Trump and even jumping to direct Biden away from answering questions that could have proved damaging.
So many Trump supporters will likely say that Wallace made his bed by jumping ship over to CNN and now he will have to lie in it.
