Joe Biden is hellbent on ramming through all kinds of gun grabbing legislation.
And Democrats need just a few RINO Republican Senators to make it happen.
But Matt Gaetz just ripped RINO Republicans like Cornyn and Graham over what will happen if they vote for red flag gun laws.
Chuck Schumer needs Republican Senators willing to betray their base to pass gun control.
It’s part of Democrats’ efforts to cash in on a horrific crisis for political gain.
They’re working feverishly to push their gun-control agenda while the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas is still on people’s minds.
They’re desperate to whitewash over the crisis of courage and failed leadership that occured.
And it appears it’s working with some Republicans.
Joe Biden joined in on the all-out push last week with a rare primetime speech calling for a slew of gun control laws including banning and confiscating entire categories of firearms.
But Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has to get a handful of Republicans to join him.
And with a 50/50 split in the Senate he has to depend on Kamala Harris to break a party line vote in his favor.
And he can’t bring it to the Senate floor for a final vote without nuking the filibuster or getting the support of a handful of RINOS.
Biden and the corporate-controlled press are doing all they can to convince wishy washy Republicans to cave.
It could happen thanks to Senator John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, who is busy cutting deals with Republicans to pass a law that would allow red flag firearms confiscation by the government.
As a staunch defender of the Second Amendment, Representative Matt Gaetz is furious at that.
“Let the message from this committee hearing to Republican Senators be clear,” Gaetz wrote in a social media post. “If you back red flag laws, you betray your voters, you are a traitor to the Constitution, you do nothing to make mass shootings less likely, and you put a target on the back of your constituents.”
Red flag gun confiscation laws will allow Americans’ right to bear arms on little more than flimsy hearsay evidence.
“And these [red flag laws] will be abused,” Gaetz pointed out. “They are being abused.”
He also said some of the first targets are likely to be in that same chamber.
“I think that there are some that would probably red flag some of your colleagues in the Senate,” Gaetz said. “How long until the conversations about kicking Senator Hawley off of an aircraft turn into conversations about taking his guns away?”
Then he concluded by getting to the heart of the matter.
“This isn’t just about guns,” Rep. Gaetz concluded. “It’s about power.”
And there’s no telling how far Democrats are willing to go in their all-out push to control our lives.
