Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has begun suffering from an issue that has caused him to simply freeze in the middle of multiple press conferences and stare off into space.
During at least two episodes witnessed before reporters’ cameras over the last month and a half, it appeared almost as if the 81-year-old Senator’s brain simply shut off and seemingly left McConnell paralyzed in place for up to 20 seconds before aides could rush in to whisk him away.

Many close to McConnell, including multiple establishment Senate colleagues, his staffers, media allies, and even his own family, seem to be brushing the entire thing off as if it’s nothing.
They’ve completely rejected the notion that the concussion Senator McConnell sustained in a fall back in March, – a fall which put him in the hospital and kept him out of work for six weeks, has played any role in the issues he’s now suffering.
They’ve even gone so far as to claim that the evidently on-going freeze-ups are simply the product of dehydration, an excuse that has unsurprisingly been backed up by the long-time attending physician in Congress, Dr. Brian Monahon.
“My examination of you following your August 30, 2023 episode included several medical evaluations: brain MRI imaging, EEG study, and consultations with several neurologists for a comprehensive neurology assessment,” Monahan wrote in a statement.
“There is no evidence that you have a seizure disorder or that you experienced a stroke TIA or movement disorder such as Parkinson’s disease,” he added. “There are no changes recommended in treatment protocols as you continue recovery from your March 2023 fall.”
But not everyone is buying the McConnell clan and Dr. Monahan’s claims, and that includes medical doctors and individuals who have had good working relationships with the Minority Leader in the Senate.
Someone who checks both of those boxes is McConnell’s fellow Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul, who happens to be a medical doctor.
Since he won the 2010 Kentucky Republican Senate Primary, Senator Paul has sought to keep a good relationship with Senator McConnell in spite of the vast differences between the libertarian-leaning conservative and his RINO counterpart.
But Paul has also taken a firm stance against McConnell and his lackeys whenever necessary to safeguard liberty and the working class, and has not shied away from calling out his fellow Kentuckian any time he’s stepped out of line or sought to betray the American people.
And now, as a medical doctor, he’s calling out the fact that McConnell’s diagnosis is an “inadequate explanation” for what he believes is a very serious issue.
“I think it’s an inadequate explanation to say this is dehydration,” Paul explained. “It doesn’t look like dehydration to me. It looks like a focal neurologic event. That doesn’t mean it’s incapacitating, it doesn’t mean he can’t serve, but it means that somebody ought to wake up and say, ‘Wow! This looks like a seizure.’”
“Everybody’s seen the clips, it’s not a valid medical diagnosis for people to say that’s dehydration,” the Senator added.
While establishment Republicans have rushed to their fellow RINO’s aide, excusing what could clearly be a major medical issue – seemingly out of fear it could result in the ruling class losing some of the power and control they have over the working class – Senator Paul and millions of other Americans are calling them out.
Make no mistake, if not for the fact McConnell has diligently served the ruling class, working hand-in-hand with President Joe Biden to spend trillions on woke special interests that only benefit the elites, and making the proxy war with Russia in Ukraine the top priority, his freeze issue wouldn’t be explained away as “dehydration.”
The RINO establishment doing everything they can to cover up issues one of their own is suffering has some Americans insisting that McConnell’s apologists have destroyed the GOP’s efforts to call attention and alarm to Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive decline.
But hopefully, Rand Paul and the millions of other Americans exposing this insanity will serve to wake up all those who continue to buy the ruling class elites’ propaganda.
