The View is quite possibly the most liberal show on daytime television.
In an attempt to appear “balanced,” Never-Trump commentator Meghan McCain plays the role of a conservative co-host.
That’s why everyone was stunned when McCain just blew a hole through this anti-Trump lie in an explosive interview on The View.
With the November elections getting closer, negative attacks on President Trump in the Fake News Media are picking up.
And President Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, provided a book chock-full of anti-Trump attacks perfectly teed up for fake news reporters to use in the run-up to the election.
Of course, Mary Trump’s credibility is thin, given her history of feuding with her family, suing her dead Grandfather Fred Trump’s estate because she only received $200,000 in his will.
But that hasn’t stopped the Fake News Media from relying on claims in her new book titled, Too Much and Never Enough and trotting Mary Trump out for countless interviews.
The claims in Trump’s book are just too convenient for the times, saying she’s heard President Trump use the “N” word and anti-Semitic slurs.
It’s also highly unlikely she’d have first-hand knowledge like this, despite her family ties, given that Mary Trump can’t even produce a single photo of her with President Trump.
So when she came on The View, Meghan McCain called her out, questioning its legitimacy.
Of course, McCain’s cohosts were fawning over Mary Trump, with Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg heaping praises on her.
But to her credit, McCain refused to join in, saying she didn’t find the book “legitimate.”
“At the end of the day you get a really good paycheck out of it but I don’t think it’s that legitimate. What do you say to people like me who think this is just a great way for you to get a paycheck right now?” McCain asked.
Mary Trump was taken aback, doubling-down with her claims that she has “deep experience” in the family because she’s President Trump’s niece.
But McCain didn’t fall for it, noting that Mary Trump herself has said she doesn’t have a relationship with her cousins.
“But you’re not close, you have in with the family where you say you don’t have any relationship with Ivanka,” McCain points out. “I think the last thing I understand is you did end up going to her wedding, but you thought you were only invited as a courtesy.”
McCain went on to make a comparison between her family and Trump’s, explaining that she has “extended family who I don’t interact with,” implying that Mary is the same time of extended family for President Trump.
McCain’s willingness to call Mary Trump to the carpet exposed her for the fraud she is.
