Barack Obama suddenly appeared on the national stage as the perfect clean-cut candidate ready to sweep into the White House.
Thanks to members of the corporate-controlled media who apparently had little interest in touching it, little is known about the former President’s past.
But Megyn Kelly just revealed one mind-bending secret about Barack Obama the media buried.
Former President Barack Obama was feted by an adoring press corps who helped maintain his image as the all-American clean cut family man.
While most political candidates are forced to confront every foolish thing they’ve done or said in the past, Obama got a free pass.
Now a letter that’s been hiding in plain sight just came to light.
Obama biographer David Garrow highlighted it when speaking to The Tablet.
Garrow explained that when Obama was 21 years old, the former President wrote a bizarre note to his girlfriend at the time revealing that he fantasized about having sex with other men.
The New York Post managed to get its hands on a copy of the letter, which is kept at Emory University.
“In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life,” Obama penned 1982 when writing to Alex McNear. “You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination.”
While things apparently didn’t work out between Obama and McNear, she profited by selling the letter in 2017, close to when Garrow’s biography about Obama, Rising Star, came out.
Garrow pointed out that both the university and members of the media maintained their silence about that passage.
“So, Emory put out a press release saying, ‘We’ve gotten these rare letters by Barack Obama,’’’ Garrow said. “And no mention of this paragraph that was too sensitive. None of the papers mentioned it. Emory didn’t mention it.”
Megyn Kelly, a podcaster and former Fox News host, noted that it’s no surprise the Democrats’ corporate-controlled media buddies went out of their way to protect Obama.
“You can bet everything that if Trump had some letter in which he talked about repeatedly fantasizing about having sex with men it would be everywhere,” Kelly pointed out. “To me, as a member of the media, this just seems like the media running cover for him on this is something that would be embarrassing potentially to him and they don’t want to embarrass Barack Obama.”
Obama married his wife, Michelle, in 1992.
“To me, it’s like the elevation of Barack Obama was important to the Left in this country, it was important to them,” Kelly pointed out. “They were working something out of their own about their own history, their own feelings on race and so on and factoring in you know, yes, point taken that she is half Japanese too but also half Dutch, so she looks white, so a white-ish ex-girlfriend, fantasizing about having gay sex that was not part of the program that no one would have any interest in that, they only wanted to elevate the 2004 Democratic National Convention speaker.”
If the letter had been revealed as Obama’s star was rising it might have proven fatal to his career.
But Democrats worked overtime to create a false image that allowed him to come off as a clean-cut family man who would win in 2008.
And it worked since Barack Obama was able to dodge any real scrutiny until long after he was safely ensconced in the White House.
