Rush Limbaugh recently told his listeners his cancer prognosis was terminal.
The audience couldn’t believe what they were hearing.
But not everyone was moved. And afterwards Megyn Kelly tore into Michael Savage for what he said about Rush Limbaugh.
News of Limbaugh’s cancer diagnosis shook conservatives around the country.
But when the host gave his most recent update, it was his most somber one yet.
“We all know that we’re going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it,” Limbaugh explained to his listeners.
Limbaugh understandably was emotional as he discussed his own mortality with tears welling up in his eyes.
Michael Savage, a fellow conservative talk show host claimed to wish Rush well, but scolded the longtime host for depressing his listeners with bad news about his health.
“Limbaugh’s crying about his cancer on air! Worst 15 minutes in radio history! Spilled a large coffee all over counter and floor. I PROMISE MY AUDIENCE THIS- I WILL NOT DRAG YOU DOWN WITH ME! Best wishes RUSH, but stop and leave the stage with dignity,” Savage posted on Twitter.
Savage’s remark drew some harsh criticism, most notably from Megyn Kelly.
“I think I speak for, oh, pretty much everyone when I say STFU you absolute douchebag,” Kelly replied to Savage.
Limbaugh’s health update was a tough pill to swallow.
After all, Limbaugh is the godfather of conservative media.
If it weren’t for Rush, there wouldn’t be an alternative to the liberal Fake News Media for conservatives to turn to.
That’s why it was understandable that Megyn Kelly rightfully put Savage in his place for his insensitive rebuke of Rush’s update on his cancer treatment.
