The Left has been trying to destroy the Trump family for years.
Now they’re going after the First Lady with their most vicious smear yet.
And Melania Trump is facing one disgusting attack that crossed every line.
Serial liar Michael Wolff launches desperate lawsuit against First Lady
Michael Wolff just proved he’ll do anything for attention and book sales.
The disgraced author filed a lawsuit against First Lady Melania Trump after she called out his vicious lies linking her to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.¹
Wolff made the disgusting allegations during a July interview with The Daily Beast, claiming Melania was "very involved" in the Epstein scandal.²
It’s the kind of baseless smear that destroys reputations and families.
Melania’s attorneys had enough and sent Wolff a letter demanding he retract the false statements and apologize.³
The letter gave him until October 21 to do the right thing or face a lawsuit for "over $1 billion in damages."⁴
Instead of admitting he lied, Wolff doubled down and filed his own bogus lawsuit claiming Melania is trying to silence him.⁵
"I did not want to be in a lawsuit, but I also am a journalist and have been one for 40 years," Wolff said, playing the victim.⁶
That’s rich coming from a guy who’s been caught fabricating stories for decades.
Wolff accused Melania of spreading false information that he makes up interviews and intimidates sources – which is exactly what critics have accused him of doing throughout his entire career.⁷
The lawsuit claims these allegations cost him a multimillion-dollar book deal.⁸
Good. Publishers are finally wising up to this serial fabricator.
Wolff has a long track record of lying about the Trumps
Michael Wolff isn’t some brave journalist standing up to power.
He’s a tabloid hack who built his career on gossip, lies, and burning sources.
His 2018 book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House was riddled with factual errors that even liberal fact-checkers caught.⁹
PolitiFact documented multiple false claims, including wrong years, misidentified people, and fabricated details.¹⁰
The New York Times called out his "indifference to factual details" and noted he cares more about drama than truth.¹¹
NPR said the book "occasionally reads like a parody" with its "elaborate scene-setting" and questioned whether readers should even believe it.¹²
Fellow journalists accused Wolff of not just recreating scenes but "creating them wholesale."¹³
President Trump called the book "full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist."¹⁴
Steven Cheung, the White House Communications Director, didn’t mince words after Wolff’s 2024 campaign book hit shelves. He called Wolff a "lying sack of s***."¹⁵
Trump himself went after Wolff on Truth Social. Called him a "So-called ‘Author’" whose work is "a total FAKE JOB, just like the other JUNK he wrote."¹⁶
Even liberal journalists who wanted to believe Wolff’s anti-Trump stories had to admit his reporting was sloppy at best and fabricated at worst.
The late New York Times media writer David Carr noted Wolff has a pattern of getting basic facts wrong while spinning elaborate gossip.¹⁷
Michelle Cottle wrote in The New Republic that "the scenes in his columns aren’t recreated so much as created – springing from Wolff’s imagination rather than from actual knowledge of events."¹⁸
This is the guy now attacking Melania Trump with Epstein conspiracy theories.
The Left keeps pushing debunked Epstein smears against Trump family
The Epstein allegations against the Trump family have been thoroughly investigated and debunked.
President Trump cut ties with Epstein years before his arrest after the pedophile acted inappropriately toward Mar-a-Lago employees.¹⁹
Trump called him a "creep" and banned him from the property.²⁰
But that hasn’t stopped the Left from desperately trying to link Trump to Epstein’s crimes.
The Daily Beast initially ran with Wolff’s baseless allegations before being forced to retract the entire story after Melania’s attorneys challenged it.²¹
The outlet admitted the story "did not meet our standards" and apologized to the First Lady.²²
That should have been the end of it.
But Wolff couldn’t let go of his moneymaking smear.
He’s now claiming Melania and President Trump are trying to "suppress free speech" and block "legitimate inquiry" into Epstein.²³
What he’s really upset about is getting caught lying and facing consequences for it.
Wolff even admitted he’s considering writing an entire book about Epstein using interviews he allegedly conducted with the dead pedophile.²⁴
Translation: he wants to profit off more conspiracy theories he can’t prove.
The lawsuit claims Trump and Melania have made "a practice of threatening those who speak against them" to silence critics.²⁵
That’s backwards.
What the Trumps have done is defend themselves against serial liars who make up stories for profit and book deals.
Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani told Newsweek that any trial would be "a circus" because "no one wants to be associated with Epstein."²⁶
Exactly.
Which is why Wolff keeps trying to drag the Trump family into it despite zero evidence.
Melania’s attorney Alejandro Brito called Wolff "a serial fabulist" – and he’s right.²⁷
The First Lady has every right to defend herself and her family against these vicious, unfounded smears.
Wolff can dress up his gossip as "journalism" all he wants.
Here’s what it comes down to. Wolff has spent decades making up stories to sell books. The pattern is clear. The evidence is overwhelming. And now he’s using the same playbook against the First Lady.
This lawsuit? It’s Wolff’s latest stunt to stay in the headlines by going after the Trump family with conspiracy theories that have already been debunked.
Melania Trump isn’t going to be pushed around by some tabloid hack with a book to sell. And Americans who care about the truth shouldn’t fall for Wolff’s act either.
