Throughout her husband’s Presidential campaigns, Melania Trump has kept her focus on raising the couple’s son Barron rather than taking part in the nasty world of American politics.

Now that Barron has graduated high school and is settled in for his first year of college, she’s starting to become more active with the campaign.

And most recently, Melania Trump revealed a difficult truth about Barron Trump that will rip your heart out.

Melania breaks her silence

Former First Lady Melania Trump sat down for a rare media interview with Fox News recently, discussing the attempted assassinations against her husband for the first time publicly.

As is typically the case, Melania wasn’t with former President Donald Trump on the campaign trail when the first would-be assassin opened fire on him during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The former First Lady told Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt that when she got word of what happened, “I ran to the TV and I [rewound] it and I watched it.”

Melania went on to explain the fear of the unknown that set in for her watching her husband take a bullet to the head and drop to the ground without knowing if he was really ok.

“I didn’t really see [it] live, but maybe, you know, three minutes, a few minutes later,” she explained. “But when I saw it, I, you know, it was only – nobody really knew yet. Because when you see him on the floor, and you don’t know – you don’t know what really happened.”

But she added that seeing the former President get right up and tell the crowd to “FIGHT!” was the perfect example of who he is at his core.

“He is really a family man,” Melania said. “He loves his family, he loves this country, and all he wants is to build better and prosperous… you could see the way he was when he was shot in the ear, the way he stood up and said ‘FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!’”

A mother first and foremost

The former First Lady went on to pin the blame on Democrats’ violent rhetoric against him for the extreme threats her husband is now facing on a seemingly daily basis, specifically calling out Democrats and their media allies for their propaganda attacks.

“Is it really shocking that all this egregious violence goes against my husband?” Melania asked rhetorically. “Especially when we hear the leaders of the opposition Party and mainstream media branding him as a ‘threat to democracy’ — calling him vile names. They’re only fueling a toxic atmosphere and giving power to all these people that want to do harm to him.”

“This needs to stop,” she added.

But one of the more gut-wrenching portions of the interview came when Melania explained that the hardest part of the whole ordeal was having to talk to the couple’s 18-year-old son, Barron, about the seemingly ongoing effort to take his father’s life.

“It was very, very difficult,” she said of her conversations with Barron.

Democrats have made it clear for the better part of a decade that they are singularly focused on eliminating Donald Trump at all costs.

But it’s his family who has to deal with the consequences of their deranged actions.
