Melania Trump has taken the same approach in her husband’s third White House run as she did throughout his presidency and each of Donald Trump’s first two Presidential campaigns – choosing to focus on raising the couple’s son rather than attempting to build her political “brand.”
With Democrats’ four politically motivated indictments bringing the total number of charges against him to 91, former President Donald Trump is in the fight of his life.
Democrats’ witch hunts against Trump are viewed by many as an attempt to interfere with the 2024 Presidential election and prevent Trump from winning the White House.
That was made perfectly clear when Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis forced the former President to pose for a mugshot in order to drive home their narrative that he is some sort of “criminal” for questioning the results of the state’s 2020 election.
Of course, that plan completely backfired when Trump’s campaign began selling merchandise with the mugshot, generating a reported $10 million surge in fundraising, and polls started showing the former President gaining, and even leading in some cases, President Joe Biden.
Regardless, self-proclaimed “journalists” in the media continued to push the narrative that the mugshot would be Trump’s kryptonite, even going so far as to claim that the fact that the famously private former First Lady, Melania Trump, hadn’t released some sort of statement about the indictments and mugshot somehow meant she had left the former President over them.
But according to a report from People, that’s simply not the case.
People reported that a source close to the Trump family had revealed that Melania fully believes the indictments are as politically motivated as her husband.
“Melania knows who her husband is, and while she deplores the indictments as much as her husband, she wouldn’t be surprised by his mugshot or make comments about it,” the source told People.
Furthermore, as everyone except the media has known all along, another source close to the Trump family added that the former First Lady is far more interested in focusing on her son and family than the political games Democrats’ media allies play.
“Melania is busy with her son and family, and she pays only so much attention to these issues which captivate the media,” the second source added.
This isn’t the first time activists within the media have attempted to make up stories based solely on Melania’s preference of privacy.
During the Trump Presidency, as the then-First Lady was recovering from a surgery, some in the media attempted to claim that she was “hiding out” because Trump gave her a “blackeye,” which was quickly disproven.
At the end of the day, while she continues to support her husband, Melania Trump simply doesn’t want to be involved in the Washington, D.C. political circus, and every sane person fully understands that decision.
But that won’t stop Democrats’ media allies from constantly attempting to drag her into their efforts to destroy Donald Trump.
