There’s no denying “documentary” film maker Michael Moore is a radical left-wing loon.
But he’s proven he can read the electorate when in 2016, he went against the prevailing narrative and predicted Trump would defeat Clinton.
Now Michael Moore is warning Joe Biden about what he sees happening in key swing states.
Michael Moore is a cultural icon to the radical Left.
His so-called “documentaries” have ignited entire movements against Republicans.
But while the leftist grassroots adore him, Moore is viewed as a pariah by the Democrat establishment.
When he predicted Trump would defeat Clinton in 2016, it infuriated many on the Left because criticism of Clinton’s campaign wasn’t tolerated by the party establishment.
Now Moore is warning Biden that he’s seeing many of the same mistakes play out again.
“The fact that Trump has narrowed the lead by 50 percent since June should have everybody screaming bloody murder . . . and figuring out what to do as soon as we’re done talking — or if you don’t even want to listen to us, if you want to get busy now, get busy now because we don’t have a minute to lose on this,” Moore stated.
Moore even went on to argue that Biden is doing worse than Clinton did in 2016 in Michigan.
This is great news for President Trump.
Trump’s victory was ensured by securing blue states that were previously never considered in-play.
That’s because Trump’s America First agenda resonates with hardworking blue collar workers in states like Michigan, while Democrats simply take for granted that they’ll vote for them no matter what.
As Moore went on to explain, Biden is falling into the same trap.
“Well, start right with the ground game,” he advised. “It’s actually worse than Hillary. At least there was a ground game, even though she didn’t show up. There were Hillary offices in many towns, campaign offices. There was door-to-door campaigns, but you couldn’t get a yard sign.”
“Yes, we need to do it differently than ’16, but we need to go the other direction,” Moore later added. “We need more. We don’t need less.”
In the end, Biden’s campaign isn’t likely to follow his advice.
They’re pursuing new “high-tech” get-out-the-vote operations that don’t rely on traditional ground games.
On top of that, Biden hasn’t been campaigning past 9:30 in the morning for most of September.
It’s hard to inspire grassroots activists to get out and vote if the candidate is invisible.
And when the dust clears from the 2020 election, that might have made all the difference in the world.
