Former First Lady Michelle Obama appeared at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Friday to promote her new book about fashion and beauty.
But Obama couldn't help turning the event into another lecture about how backward Americans are.
"As we saw in this past election, sadly, we ain't ready," Obama told the crowd.¹
She pointed to Kamala Harris's embarrassing loss to President Donald Trump as proof that Americans are too sexist to elect a woman.
"That's why I'm like, don't even look at me about running, because you all are lying. You're not ready for a woman. You are not," Obama continued.²
Obama doubled down on her claim that men in America refuse to accept female leadership.
"You know, we've got a lot of growing up to do, and there's still, sadly, a lot of men who do not feel like they can be led by a woman, and we saw it," she stated.³

The former First Lady conveniently ignored the real reason Harris lost.
Voters rejected Harris because she ran the most radical left-wing campaign in modern history while hiding Joe Biden's cognitive decline from the American people.
But Obama wants Americans to believe the only explanation for Harris's defeat was sexism.

Obama also claimed she faced unique scrutiny as the first black First Lady.
She told the audience that even Democrats were trying to take her down when Barack Obama was running in the 2008 primaries.
"Let me be clear, these were our people who were going after me," Obama said. "This started when we were running against our party. The beginning of turning me into an angry shrew who diminished her husband, who didn't love her country, who was unpatriotic…These people are lying."
Obama claimed she didn't even have support from the Obama campaign staff because "they were white folks, too."
She said she had to "quickly define myself" and "outsmart everyone" to control her own narrative.
The mainstream media celebrated Obama throughout her eight years in the White House.
She appeared on the cover of Vogue three times and was constantly praised by the legacy press.⁴
But Obama wants Americans to believe she was treated unfairly.

Melania Trump actually faced media hostility Obama claims she endured
What's actually remarkable is how differently the media treated Melania Trump.
Despite being a former supermodel with a long career in high fashion, Vogue refused to put her on the cover during her time as First Lady.
Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who had known the Trumps for years, made it clear the magazine wouldn't feature Melania because of politics.
"Obviously, we felt it was a moment in history for women," Wintour told the Wall Street Journal in 2017 about supporting Hillary Clinton. "At times like that you need to take a leadership position."⁵
The magazine snubbed Melania despite claiming they had a "tradition of always covering whoever is the first lady."
Vanity Fair also excluded Melania during Trump's first presidency, even though the magazine had frequently spotlighted past First Ladies.
When Vanity Fair reportedly approached Melania about a cover last year, she laughed it off and turned them down.

A source told the New York Post that Melania "doesn't have time to be sitting in a photo shoot."⁶
The contrast between how the fashion press treated Michelle Obama versus Melania Trump exposes the real bias in the media.
Obama was celebrated and given multiple magazine covers while the media pretended Melania didn't exist.
But Obama still claims she was the victim of unfair treatment.
That's why Democrats keep losing elections.
They can't admit that voters rejected Harris because of her radical policies and dishonesty about Biden's condition.
Instead, they blame sexism and lecture Americans about needing to "grow up."
That condescending attitude is exactly why Trump won in a landslide.
