Donald Trump is expected to run for President again in 2024.
But Mike Pence will likely not be his running mate.
And you’ll be shocked when you find out the jaw-dropping figure who could replace Mike Pence as Trump’s running mate in 2024.
Presidential candidates don’t take selection of their running mates lightly.
They don’t make the decision to replace one that way either.
But a former White House aide just made one suggestion the 2024 GOP Presidential nominee will really want to consider – whoever that may be.
Douglas Mackinnon, a former Reagan and Bush White House aide, recently wrote an op-ed where he argued that former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard would make the ideal running mate for Ron DeSantis should DeSantis win the GOP nomination.
Even though she’s a Democrat, Gabbard is an Iraq war veteran who also holds a number of socially conservative views.
Mackinnon wrote:
That said, there is another woman who could check those boxes and one or two more: former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii).
Gabbard broke the glass ceiling by becoming the first Samoan American and first Hindu member of Congress. She served our country as an officer in the Army while deployed to Iraq and Kuwait. She is a foreign policy expert who’s not afraid to call out the “neocon war hawks” or even — in a YouTube video that garnered hundreds of thousands of views — the “elites” responsible for the U.S. failure in Afghanistan.
During her time in Congress, Gabbard sponsored legislation that bans biological males from participating in women’s sports and bans abortions once a fetus is capable of feeling pain.
Gabbard also regularly decries Big Tech censorship of conservatives on a channel she started on the free speech video website Rumble.
Furthermore, as a military veteran, Gabbard also supports Donald Trump’s America First policy of ending nation building and policing the world.
Hillary Clinton even accused Gabbard of acting as a Russian agent because she didn’t support Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign due to a disagreement on foreign policy issues.
Mike Pence will not be the next GOP Presidential nominee’s 2024 running mate almost no matter what happens.
Whether the Republican candidate in 2024 is Trump, Ron DeSantis or some dark horse that’s barely been whispered about, some GOP operatives believe Tulsi Gabbard is a top contender for the spot.
