Tensions are running high across the nation following the death of George Floyd.
The Fake News Media has perverted the memory of George Floyd and riots have broken out across the country, bringing with them crime, violence, and death.
And now MSNBC’s Joy Reid caught Americans off guard with this one wild accusation.
MSNBC began their Tuesday broadcast with coverage of George Floyd’s funeral in Houston, Texas.
That’s when Joy Reid began an unhinged rant on systemic racism in the United States and made the wild accusation that the 1964 Civil Rights Act caused racists in America to join the Republican party.
“It was Lyndon Johnson completing the work that Kennedy began. That act would have been a 1963 act had it been able to go through. But the resistance of white segregationists, at the time white Democrats in the south, people who ultimately moved into the Republican Party in outrage over the betrayal by Lyndon Johnson, who betrayed his region and his race by pushing through the martyred Kennedy’s bill after the martyrdom of so many black men and women.”
Reid’s recollection of history is far off.
Her claim that racists all joined up with Republicans is unsubstantiated and false.
This is little more than another example of media elite pushing identity politics from the Left with the narrative that systemic racism has run rampant in America.
Americans were left asking why racists would join in lock step with those who passed equal rights into law.
It defies logic – but it’s not about logic.
The Left is committed to plunging the country into chaos and lawlessness in an attempt to try and defeat President Trump and his allies come November and seize control of the country with one big maniacal power grab.
But most Americans see through the political games that hacks like Reid are trying to play while the country is burning down around them.
Do you think the Left and the Fake News Media will have to answer for pushing divisive identity politics on Americans this November?
