Popular musician Kid Rock has never had a problem speaking his mind and telling it straight.
And now the corporate-controlled media and Democrats are furious at Kid.
Because Kid Rock just put his money where his mouth is and Democrats completely freaked out.
George Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is at it again.
Fresh off his controversial arraignment of Donald Trump for political purposes, Bragg has opened another Pandora’s Box.
The radical prosecutor is in the middle of another controversy after bringing second-degree manslaughter charges against Marine veteran Daniel Penny.
Penny is the hero who defended fellow passengers from criminal Jordan Neely on a New York subway train.
Neely was a career criminal with more than 40 arrests with a long history of assault, including punching an elderly woman in the face, breaking her nose and orbital bone.
Neely was threatening passengers on a subway train when the Marine Corps veteran rose to their defense.
Penny got Neely in a chokehold to restrain him while other passengers helped hold him down.
Neely lost consciousness while he was being restrained and later was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Now the media is trying to turn Neely into a martyr like they did with violent criminal George Floyd.
And Manhattan D.A. Bragg is going after Penny simply for protecting his fellow passengers from a mentally ill and violent criminal who shouldn’t have been on the streets in the first place.
This is nothing new for Bragg of course.
The Soros-backed Manhattan DA routinely gives actual violent criminals a slap on the wrist.
But in this case he decided to persecute and prosecute the Penny case once the media got ahold of the story.
A legal defense fund was put together on the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo for Penny and it wasn’t long before some high-profile conservatives stepped up in a major way.
One of those was Kid Rock who pitched in $5,000 on the site with a message that said Daniel Penny is a “hero.”
“Mr. Penny is a hero. Alvin Bragg is a POS. Kid Rock,” the message on Kid Rock’s donation to the fund read.
Kid Rock’s donation inspired others to pitch in with Penny’s legal defense fund.
“So I see that the great KID ROCK donated $5,000,” Max King Realty CEO Brett Kingstone wrote. “Decided to up my previous $1,000 donation to $5,000 accordingly. Kid Rock’s messages to Alvin Bragg, as well as Bud Lite, are well founded. Blessings to all the great Americans who sent both their prayers and contributions of $5 and up to this great Marine and Hero.”
Conservative Republican politicians also joined in to support Penny.
GOP Presidential hopeful and Biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy donated $10,000 to the cause.
And Florida Governor, and Presidential candidate, Ron DeSantis urged his followers on social media to chip in and included a link to the GiveSendGo page for Penny.
“We must defeat the Soros-Funded DAs, stop the Left’s pro-criminal agenda, and take back the streets for law-abiding citizens,” DeSantis said. “We stand with Good Samaritans like Daniel Penny. Let’s show this Marine… America’s got his back.”
After the support from Kid Rock and others, Penny’s GiveSendGo became the second biggest fundraiser in the history of the site.
So far, more than $2.67 million has been donated to Penny’s GiveSendGo legal defense page.
According to GiveSendGo co-founder Jacob Wells, donations were coming at $1,000 per minute for Penny’s legal defense.
