Ilhan Omar and the “Squad” are the most left-wing members in all of Congress.
They are calling the shots for Democrats in Washington, D.C.
But an alarming connection about Ilhan Omar was just revealed that could cost Democrats everything in November.
After a British Islamic terrorist seized a synagogue in Texas last week, took hostages, and demanded the release of Aafia Siddiqui, many Americans are worried that terrorism is making a come back under Joe Biden’s weak leadership.
Fortunately, the hostages were freed and the terrorist was killed after a ten-hour standoff.
But the incident raised serious questions about Ilhan Omar’s connections to Aafia Siddiqui, who is also known as “Lady Al Qaeda.”
Siddiqui is currently serving an 86-year sentence in Texas for the attempted murder of U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan.
Before her arrest in Afghanistan, Siddiqui was known as the “most wanted woman in the world.”
After being captured by the FBI, she admitted to having “handwritten notes that referred to a ‘mass casualty attack’ and that listed various locations in the United States, including Plum Island, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and the Brooklyn Bridge.”
According to an NBC News report, Siddiqui may have potentially married the nephew of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
But none of this prevented Ilhan Omar and her allies at the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and American Muslims for Palestine from pressing for Siddiqui’s release.
Both Ilhan Omar and fellow “Squad” member, Democrat Rashida Tlaib, have developed and maintained close ties to both organizations, which even held a “Free Dr. Aafia Washington D.C. Advocacy Day” to push for Congress to release Siddiqui.
However, both groups have failed to offer any convincing reason or evidence as to why “Lady Al Qaeda” is innocent.
Tlaib worked with American Muslims for Palestine on issues dealing with Palestinian rights and Omar was named the American Muslim Public Servant of 2021 by CAIR.
CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator by the Obama Justice Department in funding the anti-Israel Islamic terrorist group Hamas.
But as Just the News reported, Omar and Tlaib refuse to comment on whether or not they support the efforts to free “Lady Al Qaeda.”
Of course, Omar and Tlaib have previously excused Palestinian terrorism while spewing anti-Semitic remarks.
And now with terrorism on the rise, Omar’s connections to groups excusing Radical Islamists could pose a major political problem for Democrats in November.
