Trump's political enemies fall one by one
Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday that she's hanging up her gavel for good.¹
The 85-year-old former House Speaker declared she won't seek reelection when her current term expires in 2027.²
After 38 years representing San Francisco and serving as the first woman House Speaker, Pelosi's finally admitting what everyone already knew – her time's up.
"I will not be seeking reelection to Congress," Pelosi said in a video she posted on social media. "With a grateful heart, I look forward to my final year of service as your proud representative."³

Look at the timing.
Pelosi spent years as Trump's most visible antagonist in Washington, D.C.⁴
She impeached him twice – once over Ukraine in 2019, and again after January 6th in 2021.⁵
She led the resistance against every Trump policy and tore up his State of the Union speech on national television in 2020.⁶
She turned herself into the face of Democrat opposition to Trump.
And now she's leaving just as Trump returns to power.
Trump outlasted her.
The timing tells you everything
Pelosi waited to announce her retirement until after California voted on Proposition 50 – a ballot measure that redraws congressional lines to favor Democrats.⁷
That measure passed with 63% of the vote.⁸
She raised tens of millions for that fight.⁹
Mission accomplished, time to get out before Trump's second term really gets going.
But that's not the only reason the timing matters.
Biden's already toast.

And after spending decades in Washington, D.C. rigging the system against working Americans, she's finally admitting defeat.
Trump didn't just beat her politically.
He exposed her entire worldview as bankrupt.
Voters rejected everything Pelosi stood for when they gave Trump a mandate on November 5.
The Democrat Party is fragmenting.
Their old guard is retiring in disgrace while their young radicals can't win swing districts.
