Nancy Pelosi’s jaw-dropping Pope Francis comments left Catholic leaders stunned after this shocking revelation

Nancy Pelosi faces backlash from Catholic leaders after praising Pope Francis despite opposing his core teachings on abortion, while Matt Gaetz reveals the Pope's controversial globalist legacy the media won't report.

Democrats are using Pope Francis’ death to push their political agenda.

But Nancy Pelosi just crossed a sacred line that has the Catholic world in an uproar.

And a bombshell revelation about what Francis really believed has exposed her shameless hypocrisy.

Pelosi gets caught using Pope’s death for political theater

Nancy Pelosi couldn’t wait to make herself the star of the show following Pope Francis’ death.

The Hill reported that Pelosi “lionized Francis, portraying him as the perfect embodiment of the gospel of Matthew.”

Talk about shameless hypocrisy.

This is the same Nancy Pelosi who has spent her entire career fighting against the Catholic Church’s most fundamental teaching on protecting unborn life.

Tim Graham of the Media Research Center didn’t let this outrageous double standard go unchallenged.

He pointed out how The Hill casually described her as “a devout Catholic” while completely ignoring her decades-long crusade against the Church’s core teaching on abortion.

Matt Gaetz exposes the truth about Francis that the media won’t tell you

While the liberal media heaped praise on Pope Francis, some conservative voices offered a starkly different assessment of his papacy.

Former Congressman Matt Gaetz shared comments from attorney and child advocate Elizabeth Yore, who described Francis in a recent interview on Gaetz’s new One America News show as “The Pope of the Globalist.”

Yore told Gaetz that she believes Francis’ “legacy is going to be absolutely catastrophic.”

This assessment stands in sharp contrast to the media’s portrayal of Francis as a beloved reformer whose progressive vision was universally celebrated.

Media outlets enable Pelosi’s religious charade

Most alarming for many observers is how mainstream media outlets have enabled Pelosi’s religious posturing without challenge.

When Pope Benedict XVI died in 2022, these same media organizations labeled him “God’s Rottweiler” and NBC’s Anne Thompson even described him as looking “cartoonish.”

But with Pope Francis, the tone shifted dramatically, with outlets like The Wall Street Journal writing that Francis “sought to refocus the Catholic Church to promote social and economic justice rather than traditional moral teachings.”

The New York Times pushed the same propaganda, claiming Francis “tried to reset the course of the Roman Catholic Church, emphasizing inclusion and care for the marginalized over doctrinal purity.”

Even The Columbus Dispatch got in on the act, calling Francis “a humble reformer who sought to make the Catholic Church more inclusive much to the ire of some conservatives.”

What the media isn’t telling you about Pope Francis

Here’s what all these fawning tributes conveniently leave out – Francis never changed the Church’s teaching on abortion or gender ideology.

As Tim Graham pointed out, “Pope Francis did not bend on church teachings against abortion and opposed transgender ideology.”

This creates a massive problem for Pelosi and her liberal media allies. The Pope they’re praising actually rejected their most extreme positions.

Graham exposed their deceptive framing: “Conservative opposition to abortion on demand and gender-mutilating surgeries is described as ‘Culture wars.’ Advocating for abortion on demand and gender-mutilating surgeries is the side of ‘Love and mercy.’ Advocating for the unborn babies is not the antonym of ‘love and mercy.'”

The media’s hypocrisy is breathtaking.

The media’s religious double standard is all about politics

For 40 years, the Media Research Center has documented how the liberal media manipulates religious coverage to serve their political agenda.

“If it helps the Left, it’s happy news. If it opposes the Left, it’s a horrible obstruction,” Graham explained.

That’s why Pelosi can be called “devout” despite openly defying Church teaching, while faithful Catholics who actually follow Church doctrine are smeared as extremists.

The Columbus Dispatch made this bias clear when they described Francis as someone “who sought to make the Catholic Church more inclusive, much to the ire of some conservatives” – as if protecting unborn babies is just a “conservative” position rather than a fundamental Catholic teaching.

The media can’t even get basic facts right

These so-called journalists can’t even be bothered to get the most basic facts straight.

The BBC claimed Francis had a unique “common touch” – conveniently forgetting Pope John Paul II’s massive global popularity and connection with millions during his worldwide travels.

“We know Benedict was bookish, but John Paul II didn’t have a ‘common touch’? John XXIII? Reporters sound like they’ve forgotten already. Or never knew,” Graham wrote.

Instead of examining what Francis actually taught, most media outlets obsessed over superficial details like his choice to arrive in “a humble car.”

It’s clear the mainstream media doesn’t care about religion – they only care about how they can manipulate it to serve their radical agenda.

And Nancy Pelosi has proven once again she’s willing to exploit anything – even a Pope’s death – to score cheap political points.
