It’s the “elephant in the room” of American politics.
Everyone is thinking it but no one wants to say it aloud.
And no one ever expected a top Democrat would be the one to make this shocking admission about Joe Biden.
In 2024, Joe Biden will be 82 years old.
Biden’s severe declining mental faculties along with his horrendous approval rating has most folks expecting him not to seek re-election in 2024.
Of course, Biden’s handlers would never admit that publicly.
They have to maintain that Biden is planning to run for re-election or else his Presidency would be over and done with at once.
But with the Midterm elections rapidly approaching, some Democrats are beginning to jump ship on Joe Biden.
In Nevada, during the final months of 2021, nearly three times as many Democrats switched to Republicans than Republicans did to Democrats.
This has Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak nervous about facing a difficult re-election this November.
And during an interview with The Washington Post, Governor Sisolak publicly admitted that he wasn’t sure if Biden would run again in 2024 or not.
“I don’t know if he should run for re-election,” Sisolak told The Post. “I think that’s a personal decision he has to make.”
Since the Presidency is such a physically and mentally exhausting job, Sisolak said Biden may not have the stamina and strength to endure another four years in the White House.
“I cannot imagine the amount of stress that President Biden is under,” Governor Sisolak added.
Governor Sisolak recently saw Joe Biden in person at former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s funeral.
“I saw him a couple of weeks back at Senator [Harry Reid’s] funeral, and we had a chance to communicate just a little bit,” Governor Sisolak continued.
As Governor Sisolak pointed out, Barack Obama entered the White House young and vibrant and left with wrinkles and gray hair.
“He got to office with dark black hair and he left with hair as gray as mine. You can tell, the stress of the job,” Governor Sisolak added.
Joe Biden already maintains a simple schedule as President, much like he did during the 2020 campaign when his staff kept him mostly hidden in the basement in Delaware.
Very few in Democrat politics actually expect Biden to run again in 2024.
But Governor Sisolak is the first to publicly say what everyone else is thinking about Joe Biden.
