Everyone was caught off guard.
Democrats lost a major ally in the media.
And no one ever expected this to happen after CNN canceled a top show on the network.
Warner Brothers Discovery CEO David Zaslav has been promising major changes were coming to CNN.
After Zaslav instructed CNN President Christ Licht to bring the network back to the center, he just made the first move in that direction by canceling leftist Brian Stelter’s “Reliable Sources” program.
Stelter is also immediately leaving CNN.
Licht warned CNN’s left-wing staffers in an editorial call that this was only the first of many changes that were on the way and not everyone would like them.
“This is a time of change, and I know that it’s unsettling.” Licht allegedly stated. “There will be more changes and you might not understand it or like it all.”
“Give us some time, see how things develop, and then give us feedback,” Licht also told the staff.
Reporter Jon Nicosia broke the story about Stelter leaving CNN.
In a post on social media, Nicosia said more of the big name left-wing hosts were also on the network’s chopping block.

Zaslav hired Licht to clean up the mess created by disgraced former President Jeff Zucker, who turned the network into a mouthpiece for the Left.
CNN’s ratings tanked after Donald Trump left office.
During Trump’s four years as President, leftists watched CNN all day due to the constant anti-Trump hysteria they promoted.
By doing so, CNN lost the trust of Republicans and Independents.
Brian Stelter was the face of Jeff Zucker turning CNN into a second arm of the Democrat Party.
And now Stelter is the first casualty of the new changes coming to the network.
But Stelter leaving was just the beginning.
Other left-wing partisans who defined CNN during the Trump years will likely soon be on their way out the door as well.
