With each passing election cycle, more and more private sector union workers are realizing the Democrat Party has long left them behind.
Perhaps that’s why leftist believe themselves to be so big and bad when talking tough behind a computer, tablet or phone.
However, union bosses are still nestled snuggling in bed next to their favorite Democrat politicians.
Since less of their membership is turning out to vote for Democrats, union bosses are having to pour more money into Left-wing political coffers.
And they’re not stopping at purchasing favors – they’re also ratcheting up their character assassination attempts against Republicans.
And no one plays the keyboard tough guy better than Teamster President Sean O’Brien.
However, Oklahoma’s junior U.S. Senator just proved the best way to handle a bully is to call his bluff.
And afterwards, O’Brien likely had to change his pants.
It all started with the Teamster president acting like a tough guy on Twitter.
O’Brien had tweeted an array of inaccurate insults about Oklahoma Sen. Markwayne Mullin – who built a plumbing company from the ground up and also has worked as a cattle rancher.
“Greedy CEO who pretends like he’s self made … what a clown,” O’Brien tweeted about Sen. Mullin. “Fraud, always has been, always will be. Quit the tough guy act in these Senate hearings. You know where to find me, any place, any time cowboy.”
Any place, any time – in Oklahoma, they would call those, “fighting terms.”
And that’s exactly how Mullin took it.
Mullin had his chance to confront O’Brien at a Senate hearing this week.
The “cowboy” read the tweet and answered O’Brien’s challenge – much to the union boss’ dismay.
“Sir, this is a time, this is a place,” Mullin said. “You want to run your mouth? We can be two consenting adults, we can finish it here.”
“Okay, that’s fine, perfect,” O’Brien responded.
“You want to do it now?” Mullin asked.
“I’d love to do it right now,” O’Brien stated.
“Well stand your butt up then,” Mullin said.
“You stand your butt up,” O’Brien challenged.
And then Mullin did exactly that.
He stood up and was ready to reenact Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton’s duel – but with fisticuffs instead of pistols.
However, that’s when Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont intervened and potentially saved O’Brien from an embarrassing butt whipping.
Mullin is a former professional fighter with an undefeated MMA record of 5-0.
The Oklahoma Republican sat back down and would eventually challenge O’Brien to a fight to benefit charity.
However, O’Brien – the man who issued the initial fight challenge – wanted no part of Mullin.
“How about we do it for charity at the Smoke & Guns in Tulsa, Oklahoma?” Mullin proposed.
“You want to fight me?” O’Brien stated.
“What did you say by any time any place?” Mullin asked.
“Let’s have coffee, discuss our differences,” O’Brien countered.
How quickly the bully changed his tune once Mullin called him out.
And people in the U.K. think the British Parliament is fun…
