Donald Trump is in the middle of a heated battle in the courts over the assumed results of the 2020 Presidential Election.
What happens next could decide the fate of America for years.
And one Trump family member appeared on Fox News and set the record straight about the election.
The daughter-in-law of President Trump – Laura Trump – recently appeared on an episode of The Story with Martha MacCallum on Fox News discussing what President Trump’s next steps might be.
MacCallum started out by talking about Trump’s last four years in office – accepting the premise that President Trump is indeed on his way out.
But Laura Trump wasn’t having any of that.
She noted that she doesn’t think Trump is on his way out at all and that he will get another term in the White House.
“I still think that the president will get four more years in office. I think it will be the next four years. Because this thing is far from over,” Trump stated.
MacCallum responded by referencing journalist Geraldo Rivera who has said that President Trump should move on from testing the results of the Presidential election.
“You heard Geraldo moments ago say it’s time to accept the outcome of this. What are you seeing or hearing out there that he is not?” MacCallum asked.
While President Trump has suffered some losses in the lower courts regarding the results of the election, Laura Trump said that those were just “procedural steps” in the process of turning this around in Donald Trump’s favor.
However, the voters in the Electoral College will be making their votes official on December 14.
So there isn’t much time left to gather the evidence necessary to prevent Joe Biden from becoming the next President of the United States.
But the Trump corner remains confident that it will end up at the U.S. Supreme Court when all is said and done.
