Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t letting Democrat lawmakers get away with their shocking behavior.
The DOJ is vowing swift action after what federal agents experienced at a New Jersey detention center.
And Pam Bondi just unleashed a blistering response that has Democrats stunned into silence after ICE agents were assaulted.
Democrats storm federal detention facility in shocking display
Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested for trespassing at the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in New Jersey after a confrontation that involved several Democrat members of Congress.
The dramatic scene unfolded when Baraka, along with Representatives Bonnie Watson Coleman, LaMonica McIver, and Robert Menendez Jr., attempted to enter the ICE facility where numerous illegal immigrants with serious criminal backgrounds are detained.
Body camera footage released by the Department of Homeland Security shows the lawmakers engaged in physical confrontations with federal agents.

According to DHS officials, the footage clearly shows Rep. McIver assaulting ICE officers while attempting to storm the facility gates, despite the lawmakers’ denials of any wrongdoing.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has condemned the incident, calling it “a very sad day for this country.”
“What happened yesterday was horrible,” Bland stated in an interview. “The mayor going in, literally storming into a federal facility with detainees, many of whom are violent criminals, and then repeatedly ignoring multiple law enforcement officers asking him to leave… and you had congressmen as well physically assaulting law enforcement.”
Democrats deny wrongdoing despite damning footage
In a remarkable display of defiance, the Democrat lawmakers have denied any wrongdoing despite clear video evidence to the contrary.
During a CNN interview with Dana Bash, Rep. Watson Coleman claimed, “We’ve not heard anything, we’ve only read what everyone else has read. We have no idea why they would even suggest that because we didn’t do anything.”
This assertion came as CNN was simultaneously showing body camera footage of the confrontation, where Rep. McIver can be seen pushing against federal officers.
When confronted directly about the footage, Rep. McIver denied “body slamming” anyone but failed to address the clear physical contact shown in the video.
“Absolutely, I did not body slam anyone,” McIver stated, despite the evidence showing her physically confronting officers.
Rep. Menendez Jr. attempted to shift blame onto the federal agents, claiming “there were so many instances where this could have all been de-escalated, but it was squarely in HSI’s court. They chose not to.”
Acting US Attorney slams Democrats’ political stunt
Acting US Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba has criticized the Democrats’ actions as a dangerous political stunt.
“The reality of the situation is there are rapists, murderers in there, so this whole political points game, I’m really not in line with,” Habba said. “You’ve got to just enforce the law. That’s my job. If you break the law, it will be enforced no matter who you are.”
Following Mayor Baraka’s arrest, his supporters organized protests in New York City’s Foley Square, claiming the Trump administration was targeting Democrat officials.
Protesters carried signs reading “Protect the rule of law” while defending individuals who had just been arrested for violating federal trespassing laws.
“This is a moment of solidarity because it’s like that age-old poem, right? First they came for trans folks, then they came for immigrants, now they’re coming for the mayors of big cities. Nobody is safe,” one protester told local media.
Justice Department promises accountability
Deputy Attorney General Blanche has confirmed that the Justice Department is taking the incident seriously.
“General Bondi and I have talked multiple times. I’ve talked with the US Attorney on multiple occasions since yesterday,” Blanche stated on Fox News. “What happened yesterday was a very sad day for this country, and we will respond in kind, for sure.”
The confrontation has sparked widespread criticism of the Democrat lawmakers for putting the interests of illegal immigrants above the rule of law and the safety of American citizens.
Legal experts note that members of Congress, while entitled to conduct oversight visits, are not exempt from laws against trespassing or assaulting federal officers.
Under federal law, assaulting a federal law enforcement officer can carry penalties of up to 8 years in prison, or up to 20 years if a dangerous weapon is used or bodily injury occurs.
The footage released by DHS stands in stark contrast to the narrative pushed by the Democrat lawmakers, who claimed they were simply conducting routine oversight and were themselves victims of aggression.
