President Trump ran on a platform of ending the weaponization of the Department of Justice.
It’s now Attorney General Pam Bondi’s job to get it done.
And Pam Bondi made one daring move that caused widespread panic throughout the Deep State.
Deep State prosecutors resign en masse fearing what could come next
When Donald Trump nominated Pam Bondi to serve as Attorney General, many conservatives had some serious questions.
This was especially true of second amendment advocates.
When Bondi was the Attorney General of the State of Florida, she supported both red-flag gun confiscation laws and raising the age to purchase a rifle to 21.
Those positions made conservatives nervous about handing over the reins of the world’s most powerful law enforcement entity to her.
But now that she’s become Trump’s Attorney General, it’s so far, so good.
Bondi has fired prosecutors and FBI officials who worked on the January 6 and classified documents witch-hunts against Donald Trump.
And it turns out that was just the start.
Eight prosecutors working in the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York – including the acting U.S. Attorney – resigned after the Justice Department dismissed the corruption charges the Biden administration filed against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Adams had torn into Biden for turning New York City into a dumping ground for illegal aliens.
Joe Biden’s Justice Department then turned around and indicted Adams on charges that even many Democrats like former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called “flimsy.”
The Trump Justice Department moved to drop the charges, citing Adams’ cooperation with federal officials on enforcing immigration law and the fact that the charges were politically motivated.
Good riddance: Deep State prosecutors abandon their posts
Eight Deep State prosecutors responded by quitting and made public spectacles of their resignations by leaking their resignation letters to CNN.
Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove attended the hearing where the Justice Department moved to dismiss the charges against Mayor Adams.
Bove told reporters he attended the hearing so everyone who worked at the Justice Department understood the agency was back in the business of fighting crime as opposed to acting as the legal enforcers for the Democrat Party.
“I went to New York today to show the men and women of the Justice Department as well as the American people that I am personally committed to our shared fight: ending weaponized government, stopping the invasion of criminal illegal aliens, and eliminating drug cartels and transnational gangs from our homeland,” Bove stated.
Bove then took a jab at the Southern District of New York’s reputation as the Sovereign District of New York and reminded all federal prosecutors that they aren’t an independent branch of government operating outside the results of elections.
“For those at the Department who are with me in those battles and understand that there are no separate sovereigns in this Executive Branch, we’re going to do great things to make America safe again. For those who do not support our critical mission, I understand there are templates for resignation letters available on the websites of the New York Times and CNN,” Bove continued.
Donald Trump’s fight with the bureaucracy is really about crushing the mentality leftists who work in the government hold.
They believe that since they are “career” officials, elections don’t matter, and they demand to conduct their business free from the direction or oversight of the people’s duly-elected Representatives.
Those who feel that way will soon see their time in the government coming to an end.
