Pam Bondi silenced a CNN star with four words that left him completely speechless

Attorney General Pam Bondi dismisses CNN's demands for a "Signalgate" investigation, highlighting the media's desperate attempts to manufacture controversy while American trust in mainstream outlets continues to plummet.

The mainstream media continues their endless crusade against the Trump administration.

But Attorney General Pam Bondi knows exactly how to handle these attacks.

And Pam Bondi silenced a CNN star with four words that left him completely speechless.

Attorney General demolishes CNN’s demands for a “Signalgate” investigation

Laura Ingraham recently hosted Attorney General Pam Bondi on her show to discuss the latest manufactured controversy that the liberal media has labeled “Signalgate.”

The initial media narrative claimed that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth sent classified war plans to The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, but that story quickly fell apart when Goldberg published the actual text messages from the group chat.

With their original accusation in tatters, the media pivoted to a new angle – attacking Attorney General Bondi for not launching a criminal investigation into the matter.

CNN legal analyst Elie Honig led this charge, suggesting that Bondi’s refusal to open an investigation somehow proved she wasn’t independent from President Trump.

During her appearance on Ingraham’s show, the host played a clip of Honig’s complaints about Bondi being “MIA” on the issue.

“Pam Bondi has been MIA. There is no indication that she’s going to open an investigation here, and by the way, when she was up for a confirmation as A.G., remember, one of the concerns is would she be able to exercise independence,” Honig said in the CNN clip. “She told the Senate, ‘Absolutely, I will be completely independent.’ There’s no reasonable prosecutor who could look at this and say it doesn’t even need to be investigated.”

When Ingraham asked for her response to these accusations, Bondi didn’t hold back.

“Yeah, there’s a reason why their ratings are plummeting, because they’re putting people like that on TV,” Bondi fired back. “Chatter. We could care less what they say. We’re gonna continue forward on all of these cases.”

The Attorney General’s dismissal of CNN’s demands highlights the growing divide between the Trump administration and a mainstream media desperately trying to manufacture scandals where none exist.

Ingraham pressed further, asking Bondi if she was concerned about potential inspector general or congressional investigations down the road.

“So this is not a concern of yours? Inspector general – you know, idea of inspector general investigation or congressional investigation down the road? You are completely confident that this was a mistake and nothing more than that?” Ingraham asked.

Bondi stood firm in her position, stating she was “confident” there was no classified information shared on the chat and therefore nothing to investigate.

“We and all of our intelligence officials who were on it are confident of that as well,” Bondi declared.

What the media conveniently overlooks in their rush to demand investigations is the legal exposure that would face Goldberg himself if their accusations were true.

If the chat truly contained classified information, Goldberg would be criminally liable for possessing it.

Furthermore, publishing classified war plans would also constitute a serious federal crime.

This glaring hypocrisy reveals the media’s true motivation – not to protect national security, but to damage the Trump administration by any means necessary.

CNN’s declining viewership suggests the American public is increasingly seeing through these transparent attempts to manufacture controversy where none exists.

The “Signalgate” episode follows a familiar pattern where the media makes explosive allegations against the Trump administration, only to quietly move on when the facts don’t support their narrative.

By refusing to play along with CNN’s game, Bondi demonstrated exactly the kind of backbone that President Trump’s supporters have come to expect from his administration.

While networks like CNN continue their desperate attempts to generate anti-Trump stories, Attorney General Bondi remains focused on the actual priorities of the Department of Justice rather than chasing media-generated controversies.

This incident serves as yet another reminder of why trust in mainstream media institutions continues to plummet while support for the Trump administration remains strong among its base.
