Woke liberals have made it their mission to destroy anyone who dares treat Donald Trump like a normal human being.
Pat McAfee just found that out the hard way when the mob came for him.
But Pat McAfee gave liberal critics a brilliant piece of advice after they lost their minds over his Trump interview.
ESPN host refuses to back down to liberal pressure
Pat McAfee has built his ESPN show into one of the most popular programs in sports media by refusing to follow the typical script.
The former NFL punter turned media personality has carved out a unique niche by being authentic, unpredictable, and refusing to bow to political correctness.
That approach paid off again on Veterans Day when McAfee landed a 20-minute phone interview with President Donald Trump.
McAfee was broadcasting live from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in South Carolina to honor America's veterans when Trump called in to discuss sports, Veterans Affairs, and his administration's accomplishments.
"I'm only joining you because I hear you say such nice things about me from your very large audience," Trump told McAfee. "When people say nice about me, I join. When they don't say nice about me, I take a pass."¹
The interview covered everything from NFL kickoff rules to college football's NIL changes, with Trump praising veterans and discussing his efforts to improve the Department of Veterans Affairs.
But the left-wing media mob couldn't stand seeing Trump treated with basic human decency.
Aaron Rupar, a partisan hack who masquerades as a journalist, led the charge by claiming "ESPN gave Trump a platform to spew lie after lie on Pat McAfee's show with no pushback."²
The Daily Beast published a hit piece titled "Pat McAfee Forced to Give Trigger Warning for Trump Interview" — as if interviewing the sitting President of the United States required some kind of content warning.
Social media exploded with unhinged leftists demanding McAfee be fired for the crime of treating Trump like any other guest.
McAfee delivers a masterclass in not caring what liberals think
Rather than apologize or grovel for forgiveness like so many other media personalities, McAfee immediately went on offense.
"I would like to say though, for the immediate people that are going to be mad about that happening, it's the President of the United States," McAfee declared. "It's Veterans Day. He's the Commander-in-Chief. Obviously, if we have the opportunity to talk to him, we're going to. And he is hilarious."³
McAfee also revealed he had reached out to former President Barack Obama to appear on the show but Obama's team couldn't make the scheduling work due to conflicts.
When the criticism kept pouring in from woke sports media and liberal Twitter, McAfee delivered an epic response on his Wednesday show that summed up how every conservative should handle leftist outrage.
"Got a lot of people that don't know what a football looks like telling me they're never watching my show again," McAfee declared. "And I would like to let you know: good! F*ck you. Let's move on."⁴
It was exactly the kind of backbone conservatives need to see more of from public figures.
McAfee refused to be intimidated, refused to apologize, and refused to let the outrage mob dictate what he could and couldn't do on his own show.

The double standard exposes liberal hypocrisy yet again
The manufactured outrage over McAfee's Trump interview reveals the left's complete double standard when it comes to political guests on sports shows.
Barack Obama appeared on ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" multiple times during his presidency without a single complaint from these same critics.
Obama also did interviews with sports personalities, appeared at NBA games, and even filled out March Madness brackets on national television.
Where were the calls for "tougher questions" or demands that he be challenged on his policies?
Here's what really happened when Obama did his ESPN appearances — liberals couldn't stop gushing about how "relatable" and "cool" their guy looked filling out March Madness brackets.
Same exact thing with Trump? Now it's the end of journalism as we know it.
You want to see real hypocrisy? Look at ESPN itself. Stephen A. Smith can tweet his political takes all day long. Elle Duncan turns SportsCenter into a Michelle Obama fan club meeting. Nobody says a word.
But McAfee treats the sitting President with basic decency and suddenly everyone's clutching their pearls.
But the moment someone treats a Republican with basic respect, the pitchforks come out.
McAfee's refusal to bend the knee shows that conservatives don't have to accept this rigged game.
When you stand up to the mob, they usually back down because they're fundamentally cowards who rely on intimidation rather than actual power.
Regular Americans are sick to death of this rigged game where only approved opinions get the green light.
McAfee's audience keeps growing because people are starving for someone who won't kiss the ring of the outrage mob.
When you tell these keyboard warriors to shove their fake moral panic, guess what happens? Your ratings go up. Because normal people respect backbone over virtue signaling every single time.
