They swore up and down that it wasn’t that serious of a health scare and that Pennsylvania’s then-Democrat nominee for Senate had fully recovered despite all the evidence to the contrary.
Immediately following his near-fatal stroke during the 2022 Pennsylvania U.S. Senate race, John Fetterman’s campaign immediately released a statement they claimed was from him that downplayed the entire ordeal.
“On Friday, I wasn’t feeling well, so I went to the hospital to get checked out,” Fetterman supposedly wrote in the statement. “I didn’t want to go – I didn’t think I had to – but Gisele insisted, and as usual, she was right. I hadn’t been feeling well, but was so focused on the campaign that I ignored the signs and just kept going. On Friday it finally caught up with me. I had a stroke that was caused by a clot from my heart being in an A-fib rhythm for too long.”
“Fortunately, Gisele spotted the symptoms and got me to the hospital within minutes,” the statement added. “The amazing doctors here were able to quickly and completely remove the clot, reversing the stroke, they got my heart under control as well. It’s a good reminder to listen to your body and be aware of the signs.”
From there, Fetterman, his campaign, Democrats, and their media allies all continued to parrot the same talking points, claiming the stroke wasn’t that bad and that he had completely recovered, even though it was abundantly clear every time he appeared in public that he was merely being propped up Weekend at Bernie’s style to help Democrats win the Senate seat.
While their lies about his health crumbled every time he appeared in public, for some reason, Fetterman repeatedly refused to provide any documentation, or even make his doctor available for questions – as other politicians have been forced to do after similar health scares in the past – to back up his claims about his health.
One would assume that if everything was perfectly fine, as Fetterman and his allies have claimed, they’d have no problem proving it, but they refuse to do so.
But interestingly, since winning that 2022 race, Senator Fetterman has slowly begun inadvertently revealing much of what he covered up about his stroke during the campaign.
And during a recent interview with Men’s Health – who used to only interview people who were actually health, and not fat slobs – Fetterman admitted that while he claimed his near-fatal stroke was no big deal, he actually technically died in the hospital and had to be brought back to life by doctors.
“I didn’t have a near-death experience, because technically I had died,” Fetterman claimed. “It wasn’t like seeing lights or whatever, but it was feeling that everything was being bounded up in things, all coming up through, and I was going to go up to a window into the sky. Then I was woken up by the doctor who was standing over me, and he had an X-ray of my clot here that technically killed me, saying, ‘We got this. You don’t have to worry about your stroke.’”
“And if this doctor that cathetered it up my leg — I mean, it’s astonishing technology — if he was running late for work or if he was on vacation, I would be up there with the harps,” he added. “People in their middle age talk about their mortality. I’ve experienced my mortality, so I’m not afraid of it anymore.”
So he “technically died,” but the first thing his doctor said to him when he came back to life was “you don’t have to worry about your stroke?”
Senator Fetterman is literally claiming he died from a stroke he repeatedly told the American people, and most importantly Pennsylvania voters, was a nothing burger.
And he still wants the American people to somehow believe that despite him literally dying from the stroke, he’s miraculously recovered without any issues whatsoever.
With the aid of his fellow Democrats and their media allies, John Fetterman has repeatedly lied to the American people about his health and fitness for office.
But now, he’s slowly starting to admit what everyone has known all along – he’s simply not fit to serve in the United States Senate.
