With corporate-controlled media outlets’ audiences down across the board, their talking heads are more desperate than ever to drive views and clicks.
Even Fox News is getting in on the act.
But Peter Doocy got the shock of his life when he tried to lure Donald Trump into this trap.
Democrats are on the warpath
The woke outrage mob has chosen in recent weeks to take out their anger and frustrations over not getting their way in the 2024 election by engaging in outright domestic terrorism against Tesla for the role its founder, Elon Musk, is playing in the new Trump administration as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency.
Clearly, certain left-wing activist groups, who are overtly organizing and promoting such “protests” against Musk’s company – another matter that should be addressed by Attorney General Pam Bondi, but hasn’t – are more than a little agitated by the fact that DOGE uncovered and dismantled the Left’s taxpayer-funded gravy train known as the U.S. Agency for International Development.
In a recent show of support, though, President Donald Trump announced that he would be purchasing a new Tesla.
As such, Musk arranged for Tesla to deliver several of their newest, American-made models to the White House so Trump could decide which one he’d ultimately go with.

But as Trump was ultimately coming to a decision on purchasing a new, red Tesla Model S Plaid, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy decided to try to catch the President in a gotcha moment.
Doocy asked President Trump about the “message” he was sending by buying a new car while some Americans continue to struggle.
“What is your message, President Trump, buying a new car while there are some folks who will see this clip at home and they are struggling with their retirement accounts down at the moment, uncertainty about work ahead?” Doocy asked.
Of course, the implication in Doocy’s question is that it’s Trump’s policies, like tariffs, that are causing economic issues for Americans, even though he’s barely been in office for two months.
There is light at the end of the tunnel
But as the President explained, the moves he’s making have to happen if America is going to rebound and move forward to a better future.
“Well, I think they’re gonna do great,” Trump said. “I think we’re – our country had to do this. We had to go and do this. They’ve taken away, other countries have taken away our business. They’ve taken away our jobs. I did it, initially, very strongly against — as you know — China and some others in the first term; and it was a very successful term. We had no inflation. We had the greatest economy in the history of our country. And then we had COVID, which we had to straighten out.”
Many of the moves Trump has made, and the speed at which they’re coming, has been necessitated by the utter disaster former President Joe Biden and his regime left in their wake.
As Fox News’ Charles Gasparino previously reported, the scale of the damage the Biden regime caused by artificially pumping $300 billion into the U.S. economy in its final months in office in a desperate attempt to get former Vice President Kamala Harris elected is only now starting to come into view.
Gasparino noted that Biden’s $300 billion spending spree “combined with rolling over short-term debt in order not to force rates on the all-important 10-year note (which consumers rates are priced off of) to spike higher, has left a balance sheet mess of epic proportions.”
“They say this spending spree provides an insight into the mountain of debt and deficits that Trump must start to eliminate,” he added.
The Fox News correspondent also noted that the stock market is in a period of correction as it cools off from Biden’s efforts to essentially cook the books.
Fortunately, though, Trump has worked at a historic pace to right the ship, and as a result mortgage rates have fallen for six consecutive weeks, egg prices are down 21% since he took office, and gas prices have reached their lowest level since March 2021.
Furthermore, based on the latest Consumer Price Index, inflation is now declining at a faster rate than experts expected.
