The Left thinks you’re about to “declare war” on “‘woke” climate policy.”
They’re in a panic to stay one step ahead of you and they’re showing all their cards.
Because Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC mini-me thinks “Critical Energy Theory” is no joke.
Leftist media outlets are mocking conservatives for pushing “Critical Energy Theory.”
Chris Hayes – MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow mini-me and name-sake host of All In with Chris Hayes – recently posted a video entitled “The Fossil Fuel Offensive.”
Who’s offensive? Apparently, you—if you think energy is “critical.”
Don’t you love how the MSNBC host picked December to bicker about whether or not we need to be burning energy?
Anyway, according to Hayes, “The right wing thinks they have found success with their critical race theory fear-mongering, so now they’re trying to copy-paste that strategy onto a new target: ‘critical energy theory.’”
That almost sounds like a compliment—except that he doesn’t mean it.
However, it’s clear that leftists know conservatives are having a huge impact on school boards.
And that means their best opportunity to indoctrinate the next generation is likely slipping away.
After randomly griping about election laws and Critical Race Theory legislation, Hayes gets to the heart of his beef with conservatives: Republicans have a centralized organization called ALEC, which is the American Legislative Exchange Council where “right wing state legislators literally get together, craft model legislation, and pass it around to consider introducing it in their own states.”
How shocking! Ever heard of the United Nations?
It’s a centralized organization where leftists from all over the world get together to plan how to micromanage the lives of every single person on the planet.
According to Hayes, “in an amazing new turn” conservatives are going to take winning strategies from this past year and use them again when pushing back against onerous environmental requirements.
He isn’t the only leftist panicking.
Common Dreams’ headline reads, “‘Alarming’: ALEC’s New Model Bill Would Penalize Banks for Divesting From Fossil Fuels.”
Meanwhile The Daily Zeitgeist brought on Chris Crofton to “discuss We’re f****d: Introducing Critical Energy Theory.”
It’s interesting that the people who literally blame cows farting on destroying the planet (and don’t bother to admit it when they’re proven wrong) are so distressed when their opposition employs even the most basic political tactics to push back.
The best part of this story is that while members of ALEC haven’t been shy about sharing what they’re up to, it looks like credit for spreading—possibly even coining—the term “Critical Energy Theory” can go to a writer for the leftist New Republic.
We should probably thank her.
