Radical leftists like to push efforts to shut down anything conservatives say that they don’t like, however, a founding member of Congresses’ Socialist “Squad” just got herself in more trouble than she can handle.
As a founding member of the “Squad,” Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib likes to behave as if she’s invincible.
But she took things too far this time.
Tlaib helped push the idea that the Israeli Defense Force bombed a hospital in Gaza killing 500.
She even went as far as blaming Joe Biden while siding with Hamas in the conflict.
“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” Tlaib wrote on X. “@POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction-only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslim Americans like me. We will remember where you stood.”
That perspective pushed by several members of the radical Left was then echoed by the New York Times.
New York Times Headline Takes the Word of the Terrorist Group Hamas
“The New York Times published a story with the headline ‘Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say’…They did so relying on Hamas’s word on the matter.”https://t.co/ZxHjHHj4gG

While not grounded in reality, those reports had some massive real-world repercussions with mobs threatening U.S. embassies in Muslim nations going as far as setting one on fire.

And there’s every chance it was all over nothing.
Audio recordings and geo-tracking data indicate that the massive number of casualties at that hospital may have been caused by a misfired Palestinian rocket.
When reporters finally started asking Tlaib why she spread misinformation about the hospital bombing online, she refused to apologize and ran off before they could ask even more questions.
Meanwhile, the New York Times tried to backup and pretend it never printed the accusations against Israel arguing that the origin of the attack may remain a mystery.
First @nytimes reprinted Hamas’ lie, unquestioned. Then it retreated to uncertainty. After independent sources & POTUS debunked the lie, NYT framed it as event all outlets struggled to cover. Now they treat it like rooting interests w/ competing truths. #WhatBiasLooksLike pic.twitter.com/ygneJgOmkM

Of course, the New York Times was front and center when it came to demanding that the government crackdown on so-called “misinformation” and “disinformation” being dispersed online.
Kevin Roose, the newspaper’s tech columnist even pushed the idea that the government should appoint a “czar” to deem what information is considered true or false.
This latest incident makes it clear that when the corporate-controlled media is calling for “misinformation” to be tamped out, what they really want is for Big Tech to shut down conservatives and ensure Democrat Party talking points are deemed “true” online.
But it’s becoming increasingly clear “misinformation” is flourishing on the front page of the New York Times, not to mentioned Rashida Tlaib’s social media account.
