Chuck Schumer is at serious risk of pulling out every remaining hair on his head.
His razor thin Senate majority is constantly imperiled.
And Republicans just threw his plans into chaos with one brilliant strategy.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is throwing everything he has into keeping his senate majority, but it’s starting to look like that won’t be nearly enough.
The Midterm elections are set up to ace as a referendum on Joe Biden’s train wreck of a Presidency—and Democrats are in all kinds of trouble.
Biden’s poll numbers are underwater in almost every single state in the nation.
Currently the Senate is split 50/50 with Kamala Harris on standby to cast tie-breaking votes.
That means Schumer can’t afford to lose a single seat.
The biggest battles look like they’re shaping up in New Hampshire, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.
All four were just barely picked up by Biden in 2020 and each has a Democrat Senator on shaky ground.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s approval rating has been rivaling Jimmy Carter’s dismal numbers and it appears he’s going for the title of “worst President ever.”
Now Republicans are stirring the pot by going after Democrat-held seats in Colorado and Washington.
Biden sailed to victory in 2020, but after a year and a half of Joe Biden’s bumbling, both are in play now.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRCS) is investing heavily with major television buys in Colorado and Washington state.
The NRCS, which is the top electing committee for Republicans is running attack ads against Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and Senator Michael Bennett (D-CO) for the unlivable levels of inflations plaguing the nation by showing each senator’s face morph into Joe Biden’s.
The Washington ad highlights the fact that Murray votes with Biden 96% of the time while Bennett sides with the president 98% of the time.
The NRSC is dropping $250,000 in Colorado and a full $765,000 in Washington.
Construction company owner Joe O’Dea is on the Republican ticket in Colorado while Tiffany Smiley — a well-known veterans’ advocate — is running in Washington.
NRSC Chairman Rick Scott (R-FL) says both senators are “on the heels” of their opponent.
“From the beginning of this cycle, the NRSC has been committed to expanding the map, and we’re doing just that,” Scott told Politico.
While those campaigns seemed like long shot bids in the beginning, Biden’s mind-boggling incompetence has created all kinds of new opportunities for Republicans.
In fact, Democrat pollster CIVIQS discovered that only 30% of Coloradoans approve of Biden while 56% disapprove of the job he’s doing.
Meanwhile, in Washington, Biden is sitting with 36% approval and 51% disapproving — those are shocking numbers in a state where he won by 19 points in 2020.
Those are all warning signs Chuck Schumer is likely one election cycle away from getting kicked out of power.
